Hello friends, In my mind, smart cities means the developments of our society, living life style, economic growth etc. Mainly smart city refer to the development, construction of our school, hospitals and 24*7 electricity, the housing of all middle-class family even lower class family. Although we need smart cities but firstly we need smart peoples around us who can contribute his smartness works for our society. You know friends in our country main problem is corruption and everyone indulge in it. My words would be getting bitter but this is truth it means corruption is parts of our country identity it also only pen and paper reduce will be soon but look in the actual ground what is happening. If we want to make smart cities firstly we have to end up the corruption. It will possible then. In addition, our PM says 100 cities proceeding on smart cities but if we invest that money in countryside our India can make smart and our farmer can get benefits.

Hi everyone,

Yes we need smart cities which provides us good infrastructure, employment, education system, . Leads to.

Economical growth of country, safety&security,

But we shouldn't forget rural areas, villages.

As Mahatma Gandhi said, India's future is depends on development of villages. Because he travelled entire nation &he knows well wt is the part of villages in development of our Nation. In otherhand.

Prime minister Narendra Modi saying India's future depends on the smart cities, Because he travelling many countries which are developing by adopting smart cities.

If we convert whole country into smart cities by occupying farmers land by replacing with industries, .

It may happens that our generation ate only bread, jamoon, cake, fastood!

So Govt should provide Basic infrastructure and good education to all villages Along with this converting cities into smart cities will improve our country in better way,

Thank you guys.

Hi.

This is Dhananjay, as we all know that today topic is about smart cities. By this process, if we are able to minimize some ratio of unemployment problem which has been the main headache of our country, then it could be a great idea. Another thing is, if the government really wants the development of our country, then they should put more effort in the field of education. In rural areas, people are there, who don't have any idea about "city". They are just too far away from this city and its so-called facility. If the government can do some improvement in the villages where a good medical and educational system, transportation system, etc. Are the daydream for the villagers. If this thing will happen, then I must say, there is no requirement of smart cities. If we will have smart literate persons in every area, the development will automatically come.

So, put much effort on that rural area, where people actually need it.

Thank you.

I think smart city project is the very good project. Because it is very important for every country. Smart city does not mean that in your city have a good road, good transport system. I think smart city means that city person have a good education. Education is a basic need if you want to become our country smart. I think if city people is not smart And not well educated, and also not follow the rule, untile we can not Become a smart city. And with education, employment is also important. If in city, every person has an employment than Noone Will not think about Of crime. And also if you want to become a smart city fast up all, every citizen will have to change our think, and I think we should understand the value of citizenship. And we should not throw the garbage on road, and also should not split on a rode. And if you want a smart city, firstly we will have to change ourself and We can also say that we have to became a smart citizen.

Yes, we really need smart cities, in order to make our India smarter. Smarter cities stand for wifi services, a very marvelous infrastructure, shopping malls, breath taking tourist spots, etc. But just think twice, where these big infrastructure will be build, because most of the places in India is slum areas. So the tact is that, we first have to make our indians smarter, richer, educated, and literate, then India will automatically become smart.

Recruiting good teachers, hard work of students, hard working engineers, doctors, education hub is the suitable things that we require the most to be smarter.

About 109 states are being choosen, in order to make them smarter, the idea of smart cities was introduced from japan in 2015, initiatives was taken by our pm narendra modi ji. So, we really need sm, art cities so that we can excel in economic growth, financial growth, and as a whole our India will become a smarter independent country.

Hi everyone.

I am malatesh daddikoppa.

"Do we really need smart cities".

In my opinion currently we don't need smart cities, we need smart country, it means our country should be become a developing to developed country. The main thing is Indian government need to concentrate on villages.

Now Indian cities batter than villages,

In India 60 percent of population living in villages only 40 percent in cities but more than 70 percent developing activities happening in cities.

But some villages can't able to take basic necessities also those are.

1. Water supply.

Some villages can't able to get pure drinking water also.

2. Electricity supply.

In India few villages face a problems regarding power.

3. Road facilities.

Few villages face problem of roads they don't have good roads for doing anything.

So Indian government need to correct these kinds of problems in villages after that we can concentrate on smart cities.

By next decade it is estimated that around 5 million Indians will move from Rural to Urban areas in search of employment. Are our cities ready to accommodate these many people? Are there enough facilities to cater everyone's needs? Answer we all know is a big "NO".

So Smart cities Mission is a major initiative taken to tackle the problems in future, if not now.

E-governance shall make the system more transparent and also involve citizens opinions.

Better Energy and water management will ensure 24 Hr supply and avoid wastage.

More efficient waste management is surely needed seeing the plight of today, we can't imagine how it will be for tomorrow's generation. Also better urban mobility shall save our time and money.

"Stitch in Time saves nine".

And this is India's mission for a better urban living. Let us all joins hands and work towards a smart tomorrow. If not us, our next generation shall reap the fruits.

Yes, we really need smart cities in India. But before that, we need smart villages. This is the dream of Mr. R. Madhavan whom we have seen as an actor till now. And I totally agree with him.

At a place where we are today, we have sufficient facilities in our cities. What we actually lack is good facilities in villages. If we talk about India as a whole then firstly we should bring all the areas of India to one level and then talk about developing them further. What is the point in making a city smart and the village (at a distance of 200km near it) near it doesn't even has a proper water and drainage facility. Is it success to make a city a complete WiFi zone and the village nearby doesn't even gets a proper internet connection in not even one house.

So these are my views, firstly bring all the regions at equal levels or at least at 70% level of the cities, then try making all of them 200% of what they are.

Hi everyone, here I am against on the topic. In my view, I don't think we really need smart cities. Smart cities include a good internet connection, speedy trains, high education and cashless payment. India is the country where people are not able to fulfil their basic necessities. They are not able to get *ROTI KAPDA MAKAN* without this what they will do of all these high facilities. Our country doesn't need bullet train but it needs safe or more compartments. People in village don't have money to fulfill their needs how they will transfer money digitally from where they will be able to get money for internet connection and smart phones. This smart city concept will not be fully successful till our country is not fully educated. Without education how they will be able to operate high technology gadgets. In my view, I think the smart city is not the need of the hour but basic necessities are need of the hour.

Hellow.

I think we really need smart cities.

There are several benefits of having smart cities such as.

1) smart cities has many no. Of companies. It will increase the employement for the yongesters.

2) In smart cities we can easily grow our business as compared to rural area and get many oppurtunities to grow.

3) if we have many smart cities, the we accelerate the economic condition of our country.

Here I want to share some intresting surveys.

If we talking about china, it has more than 150 smart cities and they made a plan to make more than 400 metro or smart cities in the upcoming years. This can increase the economic strength of a country. And also reduce the overload on main metro cities.

But in India we have only some metro or smart cities such as Delhi, mumbai, kolkata, allahabad, bengulure and some one. So, we really need smart cities to make India a super power.

Thanks to discuss.
