Hello,

In My point of view, smart cities is need of our nation. Smart means all cities are fulfil by all facilities.

The basic needs are cover in smart cities.

1) Food.
2) Shelter.
3) Education.
4) Jobs.

Devloping nation convert into developed nation then smart cities are must for developing nation.

Cities are made smart when citizens are change there view of thinking. When citizens will be smart then cities will be directly convert into smart cities. Then no need of do anything.

Good evening to one and all.

In my point of view, smart cities surely give development but when? If people are well educated, well matured, well disciplined etc etc. Initially we have to give respect to every woman and we have to treat women is equal to boy why because now a days in every field women's playing crucial role so we need to encourage them and then development will be achieved faster when boys and girls work each other and we have to create some awareness programs for village people and for uneducated people we have to educate them and govt of India should follow strict rules. In foreign countries throwing a paper will also be penalized but in India throwing scrap and splitting on roads is very common we need to change the system if we do these things then surely every city is a smart City in India.

Good evening every dignitary.

Smart city are the cites which do not have only financial capabilities but they do have some salient features which will make their city unique. This attribute may entitled features like sewage system, flood drainage system, emergency tactics ETC.

Moreover, a city is not smart as long as the people or citizens residing are not smart. If people are brainless and scatter the waste all around, not respecting the GOVT property it is bond to happen that city will not be smart.

It's not right to link smart city with high rise buildings. In my opinion, a city should be termed smart city if it possess some salient features of smart city like proper sewerage and drainage system, proper town planning, proper space for playground, parks and basic amnesties required for daily life. And hence every city should be smart city and it is very much relevant.

No, we don't. We can keep all our inventions and discoveries in big science parks, museums and land but we don't actually need them in our daily lives. They spoil the natural things gifted by God. We begin to forget about nature and run behind our Wants not Needs. And definitely, these things are not needed. We become selfish and do this because we want an easy life and become couch potatoes but we don't think about the plants and animals around us. Love in natural environment you will never get bored and will be disease free no need for wasting money on curing diseases. We need to take things sadly. We need to get our country on the path of development but also should be able to reserve what we cannot get again and again.

Good afternoon everybody, our GD topic is Do we really need Smart Cities?

Now Smart Cities these words evoke an imagination of a city in our mind which has high rises, glass buildings with great architecture, intelligent public utilities, less congestion and pollution etc. But before moving to that bright imagination we first need to keep in mind that cities are built for people. Every product or good, ex: a public bus, when its made it remains cleans it looks sharp, all nice. But after a few months the same thing when stained with pan-parag or gutkha. It does not look very smart. So before venturing out to build a smart city, the govt should concentrate on making the people smart by enforcing proper education from a very beginner level and also it should educate the public via mass awareness. Only then we can protect our cities our culture and thus we can live smartly.

The concept of the smart city should rise from within the people who will be using it. Without it, a smart city will also look pale and lame full of half wits.

Hello, everyone.

In today's world, we really need smart cities. A city can be considered "smart" if the investments are made in that particular city in various sectors like infrastructure, industries by the participatory govt.

The status of smart city - reduces public spending, increases efficiency and quality of services, promotes innovation, instant information, e-governance, education and health care, energy efficiencies.

So, who will prefer to loose such facilities? we also don't prefer to loose such facilities. Hence we really need smart cities.

Thank you.

Yes, we really need smart cities in developing country like India, smart cities are the cities which have proper standard of living, where educated people live, where the people are aware of happenings and have facilities of proper clothing, shelter and housing. There should be a large no. Of smart cities which will not only bring the development in country but also in people's mind and develop them as a person. If we compare the smart cities with the undeveloped areas we would know how they live and what is the difference and soon that gaps should be filled. India with the highly populated country have capable people who can bring our nation towards development but the only difference is an opportunity and lack of education and development in our nation so this is the core problem then only more smart cities are possible.
