Smart city concept in India is invalid. Instead, we should focus on basic amenities, infrastructures, and fair transparent government services.
Although all the criteria's mentioned above are taken consideration by gov. Smart city mission. Look smart city is the vision of government. In India, all policies and vision struck in the implementation policies. So whatever govt has said about smart cities, let's accept that, because at least from gov. Side cities are getting importance.
If the mission name could be in the Indian language, the debate over a smart city would be very less. Then it would be seen as a separate concept. Our prime concern is to improve the quality of city life. But we are struck by the concept of the smart city. The name does not matter. What are the features matter.
The general image of the smart city in India is now somewhat exclusionary. What about the job of ews and lig section, where will be they accommodated, after five years will gov continue the 100 crore fund each year.
The good part of the story is technology is going to be used for quicker and fair solutions, the hardest part of Indian administrative system. Even the birth certificate can be downloaded from your home, you don't need to wait for the clerk in dilapidated gov. offices.

Hello every one.
Imagining about smart cities in India is fare enough but before that we need to see whether the public who are going to live in smart cities are smart enough or not like we see on our daily basis that some people are there who don't care about the environtments and split shits like pan and etc here and there, so before smart cities we need to make these people smart first.

I would like to start discussing this topic with an example. Suppose you visited a recently built government infrastructure which is equipped with modern technologies and facilities. At the first instant, you'll feel very contented thinking that our country is moving very fastly towards development (although I personally believe that it is actually happening when I read about our contributions in space missions etc) but if you revisit that place after two months you will see beautiful graffiti of pan Parag or pan masala on the walls. And the modernized equipment that made you feel proud earlier may be placed deadly now. Also if you move outside the washrooms you can venture to smell that pleasant odor coming out. So what I mean to say is that we really need smart cities for the betterment of our country and people but first what we need is to make our thinking smart. Before dreaming of living in smart cities, every individual of our country needs to change their mindset. We have to spread awareness for education, rules, and regulations, how to utilize our resources like water and electricity efficiently. And when we become successful in this, I think 50 % of the smart city agenda is done.

Of course not. Because in my prospect a man can't be manipulated by the society's influence if he himself has a power of judgement. I am not saying that people should be back-dated. But if most of the current people really think that their cites have become smarter then why this kind of nonsense activities like rapes, molestation etc are being happened still. So I think that a man can change himself by his own mentality, not by anyone's influence. And that day the cities will be smarter.

Hello Friends,
In India, there is need of Smar City is due to rapid migration of people from villages to city area and increase overburden over Basic Facility.
Like,
- Food.
- House.
- Road AND transportation.
- Education.
- And food.
In our India, 60% population is living in village and 40% living in city. Why govt will think for 40% people rather than the 60% people.
On one side govt was plan for Smart City but on another side in villages, there is problem of,
- Drinking Water.
- Unemployment.
- Health Facilities.
- Education.
- Lack of transportation Facility.
- Mobile network.
If govt could plan such way that the villages people are Make Happy in their own village by proper Employment And Education facility.
Then villages people stop migration from village to city and decrease the overburden over the facility if city. And it will not require to develop smart city in India.

A smart city is a city with proper drainage system, roadways, railways, public transports, luggage transport, schools, colleges for all courses, water reservoir, shopping malls, enough plantation of trees to keep pollution free city, waste management scheme. A city with almost all facilities is titled as smart city. A city must have all the above-mentioned facilities to be smart and it is essential for public as with proper drainage system, mismanagement of waste material and lack of plantation in city may cause diseases and lead citizens suffering from various diseases. Secondly, a city with improper roadways, railways, public and loading transport it is very inconvenient for public to move from one place to another. Thirdly, no schools or colleges in city will need students to go to other metropolitan cities to grab education, leaving their native place. Fourthly, proper resources are must, place for living, water to drink and washing purpose, LPG to cook food, air to breathe, food to eat. Fifth, shops to shop green groceries, groceries, cosmetics, stationery, clothes, footwear, electronic gadgets, automobiles and many more. So, all these requirements are basic for one. So, we can conclude that we are really in need of a smart city.

I think the smart city is very good for India. Because the reasons everyone having a smartphone they are all having some work in a place. So think about that if the smart city is coming in India then India is the popular country in the world.

I think smart city project is the very good project. Because it is very important for every country. Smart city does not mean that in your city have a good road, good transport system. I think smart city means that city person have a good education. Education is a basic need if you want to become our country smart. I think if city people is not smart And not well educated, and also not follow the rule, untile we can not Become a smart city. And with education, employment is also important. If in city, every person has an employment than Noone Will not think about Of crime. And also if you want to become a smart city fast up all, every citizen will have to change our think, and I think we should understand the value of citizenship. And we should not throw the garbage on road, and also should not split on a rode. And if you want a smart city, firstly we will have to change ourself and We can also say that we have to became a smart citizen.
