Yes, we need smart cities.
Though mission objectives like good administation, affordable housing was good enough but good administration and proper use of fund is required in order to implement this mission in efficient manner.
Also, it provides a huge employment during the construction of these smart cities.

In my opinion, first of all, the smart city is called development of country. And the smart city is requirement of India. It helps growth in country. The science and technology are important of all country. The many people are aware about in smart city but they are not follow rules and regulations.

You all may be right, but my point of view, firstly, we should develop our rural areas & the behaviour of people if we will succeed to do this, it will automatically happen. Everyman wants to be smart &if our government will help of each person to be smart definitely out city will be smart.

We are living in the 21st century and still, we are facing the problem of farmer suicide, rape on small girls, reservation, etc. I am not opposing smart cities but basic needs to be completed before developing something.
So, that people will become smart and it will help for smart cities also to maintain it.

In my point of view, smart cities are no need. It depends on the behaviour of the human when coming to the boys are teasing a girl like that. If there is smart buildings and smart roads there is no use of it without any common sense so if we create a knowledge on that definitely that will become a smart city.

The idea of Smart cities is a very effective one since the progress of any nation will need to start from somewhere. That somewhere is initiative of developing the cities, concentrating on smaller parts of the nation one by one will definitely help us become a developed country with the proper process.

According to me, smart cities really need in India to get good infrastructure and facilitates to support our country's growth and also attracts fresh investments. I also point out that marking smart cities is not enough, the people who are living in those are smart enough to utilise those facilities.

Smart cities will provide good infrastructure. With good infrastructure, there will be the provision of good transport facilities, communication, 24 hrs water supply and electricity. There will be good employment for creating a smart city people should be smart. This will be when people are educated.
