Do we really need Smart Cities?

We really need smart cities. Smart city means a city where we have all kind of facilities, where technology is used to make every facility smarter, where we have good transportation. If we'll be having more smart cities people will be smarter. And it may help in the development of the nation. So I agree with the topic.

Here I would like to discuss the smart city.

Before making the city smart in India, before we concentrate on that we should concentrate to make people be smart, in our country many villages not developed and many people still facing lots of problems just for one day one time food so we should concentrate on that first, one all village became a smart people became a smart automatically city will become a smart, thank you everyone.

Yes, we do. But before making city smart. We as Indian need to become smart. To change our city into smart we have to change ourselves first. We need clean roads, education, drinking water most of the region is deprived of. The Government has initiated many ideas to overcome our country from these miseries. But alone, the government can do anything until we do no take initiative. Every individual must take their own responsibility.

Yes, we need smart cities because smart cities provide good infrastructure, water facilities, employments, good roads, highways, etc which are use ful for the development of India. Though smart cities has disadvantages like pollution from industries, vehicles, and CFCS from ACS refrigerator etc smart cities there are some agreements like Paris climate deal etc so for development India has a need for smart cities.

For pollution from vehicles, we can reduce by using electric vehicles instead of fuel and also the way of afforestation will reduce all these disadvantages even if we build smart cities. So, to become developed country we need smart cities.

Yes, smart city is the symbol of the developing country though India doesn't require a smart city, because more than a smart city we need smart villages, how the smart city now is a like cage with all the facilities but no freedom, the people in remote villages still not having proper electricity, roadways, smartphones, so our major focus is to bring those villages to light, if all such villages provided with smart facilities, our country surely becomes the smarter country, the problem with the smart city is that everything will be technological, but there is no humanity.

Yes, every developing country need smart cities but there should be a standard set by the government that first of all every city will get this standard and after this intention should go towards the smart city.

For example, if in a country there are 50 cities out of which 35 cities have converted into the smart city while the condition of 15 cities is very bad. Everybody can understand this type of country can never get developed country title. So for this we have to raise the every man above the poverty line after this we can think about smart city.

Do we need smart cities? my answer is yes because the Indian economy depends mostly on the income that evolved from different organisations situated in a city.

The government has taken a good initiative to invent more cities as smart cities. So it funded several crores of money to change many cities into smart cities but the money is changing hands to hands. Finally, the money which the leaders spent for development of smart cities is very low.

We really need smart cities because the growth of a country depends on the smart cities. There are a lot of employee chances for the youth as well as people of a city.

Yes, we need smart cities but before saying yes we should think about the current situation of our cities no clean roads, there is no purified drinking water, public toilets are not maintaining neatly, lack in hospitality, etc.

When people becoming smart then the only city also change to smart.

We definitely need smart cities since our country is a developing country. But before making the cities smart, people need to become smart in order to efficiently use the resources. If people became smart then automatically our way of living will change and thereby lead to the smart cities.

As India is running towards becoming a developed nation it already consists of some smart cities like Mumbai, Delhi, etc. So if we want India to be called a developed country I think maximum cities need to be smart!
