Smart City are spoiling the agriculture and the farmers associated with it. Development should be in distributed form in all over the country in spite of concentrated in few cities. Due to development in cities, village people has to move towards cities to survive hence concentration of population in smart cities again create problems like pollution, mental stress, anxiety.

The idea of Smart cities is a very effective one since the progress of any nation will need to start from somewhere. That somewhere is initiative of developing the cities, concentrating on smaller parts of the nation one by one will definitely help us become a developed country with the proper process.

Hi everyone.

Yes, we do need smart cities because smart cities will attract the foreign investors to invest in our country by this our economy gets a huge boost by this we will have more employment oppurtunities by this there will be reduction in poverty. By this we can become a developed nation soon. But it also has some demerits such as only smart cities won't workout. Our people should be smarter enough to cope up with these cities. So I suggest government to take initiative to implement skill development programmes where an individual can improve his/her skill. I believe that one can become smarter with his/her own skills. So making our nation and our people simultaneously smarter would give us better results.

Thank you.

Yes. We need smart cities. But before making smart cities we have to make smart people. First, we have to make all peoples literate. Because with the education people get the sense to survive in society. The Latest example about uneducated people attacks on Tejas express. Tejas express is a part of the smart city, but few people broke his windows. Therefore without literacy smart city is meaningless.

Yes, we need smart cities. It's not necessary that we try to make people smart and then do smart cities. Before demonetization most of the educated people, as well as uneducated people didn't use smart transaction app such as paytm, UPI etc, but as demonetization came into play people automatically tried to become smart due to the problems which they faced and all started using paytm etc. So the ultimatum is that if we have smart cities people will automatically become smart based on the Environment.

In my opinion, yes we do but it's not now the Main factor one of the city want to become smart it would be good and standard education, high specialist government hospital, Transport facility and Money providing facility would be in higher level and avoid from environmental affecting factor is to be obtained each and every manner in our country to attain by governance as well as public responsibility for environmental awareness. If it is obtained then India will become smart cities.

Hello everyone.

I agree with all of you, that before making the city smart, we should try to make the people smart and villages smart but if we keep waiting to be every people smart and every village smart the country which is developing with us will overtake us soon and the will become developed.

So in my opinion, govt should focus on to make people smart but at the same time to make a smart city.

According to my opinion, yes, of course, the developing countries like India need smart cities for better development of our country. Before developing smart cities first of all we need to know what is a smart city? what is the use of it? that too in our country there is a lot of problems like un-employment, illiteracy. Etc and many people are not able to fulfill their basic needs like food, shelter, cloths so, first of all, our government should focus on these things later on we will focus on smart cities.

Hello every one,

I think instead of making smart cities, Indian Government need to make people smart first. There are many problems in Indian villages like electricity, water problems so our government should focus on those problems first rather than doing all this. India need many more changes to become a smart city and this is like a first step to make India smart.
