Yes, we need smart cities because it measures the parameter for development. People are now shifting to urban areas as all of us want to be technologically advanced. The metro cities are very crowded due to huge population residing there if other cities are developed into smart cities then the population would get divided and many cities would remain clean, technically advanced, good sanitation and hygiene etc and indirectly that is also the development of the nation.

Hello everyone,

I am Sujit Kumar Bhuyan. I would like to mention something regarding this topic. Yes, we need smart cities not only for our own comfort, it will help to increase the economy of our country. If some cities become smart day to day the demand of country will increase.

In India 50% population is only younger and struggling to get a job because in India job is very less according to population and the age between 18 to 35 are going out of country to get a job and those who have not good financial condition they are joining in various local politic group and misusing their life.

If smart cities will be in our country most of the students who are interested to study higher education, they will be getting more opportunities.

Day to day the system of education is increasing in other countries because of smart cities. To become educated the students from India are going to foreign and spending more money and because of this, the economy of other countries is growing up.

Those who are in rural area and not getting proper information about new generation, they will be getting easier and they should try to change their life system according to the new generation.

Hey, guys, first the answer to this question is yes, we need smart cities. But, there are nowhere smart cities without people's role. First people's mentality must be smart then the city/places will become smart. Places indicate people's mentality or attitude. "As the peoples so the places!". Cleanliness is the first neatness. Smart doesn't mean only for clean or appearance but also a slight improvement in infrastructures. So, finally, peoples first then cities next.

Yes, we really need a smart city. With the development of the smart city new roadways and highway will come into existance with the of this transportation became more speedy, trades will take places quickly. People will get better standard of living. Better hospital facility and treatment will get easily. Major of people are not getting a proper water facility, electricity, dumping system, drainage system etc.

By coming up with smart city people will enjoy a high standard of living and youngsters will get better education and a good job opportunities. Along with that our country's economy will also boost up and other countries will show up their interest to do business with our country.

I am Praveen.

I would also like to join some point ahead.

Smart cities, Yes, we need smart cities in order to develop the country further because we are living in an advance century bit none of our things an advance.

If we observe to China, and other countries too, we are still in a backward condition terms of everything.

Yes, I do agree well with the point that most of the population are at villagers they were not getting basic needs to survive.

So my conclusion needs a smart city which develops our whole country when I mentioned country it covers every part.

Hi everyone.

Yes, there is a need for smart cities but not now.

I understand that smart cities are required if we want to see our country to be in the list of developed nations.

But we need to understand that no structure can sustain for a longer time if the foundation is week. And then here the foundation is our villages.

We should first focus on improving the condition of villages and make them smart. A large no. Of people from villages are migrating towards the cities to get a better education and for other basic needs. And because of that cities are becoming crowded.

The Basic concept is: more the people, more no. Of vehicles, more will be the consumption of fuel and definitely, it will affect the environment.

First, we need to focus on making our villages smart.

Yes, we really need smart city because in modern country everyone is smart and advance. But for making ourself smart we have to start from initial i.e. from our village because our country near about 50% so we have to firatly improve the condition of villegers. Such that they will became smart and take part in smarting the city.

Yes, we need smart city because there are so many villages which is conected to the cities and mahatma gandhi used to say that if you want to see india, see her in villages. So first of all we need to develop a village then we can think about smart cities.

I believe in instead of smart cities we focus on other things like we developed some beneficial facilities for our farmers so our economy will be improved. We focus on a crime that tremendously increased in India such as corruption rape cases female foeticides and much more only making digital India is not the solution to every problem.

I would like to join with that point. Instead of making some selected cities smarter, we must focus on villages that not even have the basic facilities like sanitation, power supply, banking facilities. Agricultural needs must be monitored and provided properly.

Instead of focusing on tourism, smarter cities we must first take care of this.
