Do we really need Smart Cities?

Yes, we need Smart Cities in India, it will help the country grow economically & technologically.

Smart cities will provide numerous job option to the new blood and it will help to boost the standard of living.

As we already know our metropolitan cities are overcrowded & polluted hence the concept of smart cities will reduces the burden from the metropolitan cities.

According to me, yes we NEED smart cities just not because other countries are developed. As we are a developing country. We are on a way to develop our country. It will give a good infrastructure, hygiene, cleanliness, and most important a good transportation. In any developing country, the transportation is the most important part of developing any country. As there will be a good transportation the cost of the product will decrease the transportation cost will decreases by having a good road facility. As India is a diverse country and if we have a good infrastructure and hospitality their will more tourist to visit India. And it will be good for our economy also for more development.

Definitely we need a smart cities because we want some technological developments. It helps us to gaining a profitable country. It control all the surroundings also and keep nature in regular way. Mainly the smart cities are giving good education systems for back ward peoples. Many people get a employment opportunities behalf of this smart city system. Yes, we need smart cities because India should be developed like another country and who don't no its advantages government should educate them.

Dont we need to work on what we already have instead of having smart cities.why dont we first develop the rural area which is a need and then think about developing the urban areas. A lot of rural areas dont even have toilets and we are thinking about smart cities it seems so unfair.it will resultt in lot of migration, overpopulation of cities.

But in my point of view, we really need smart cities, so that we can will we able to get the advantage of latest technologies and many more. As per my view, smart cities really need when the people are aware of all new things occur in the country because of a lot of people don't know the what is technology and what is smart cities it is of lack of education in all areas.

Yes, we need smart cities and the decision taken by Indian government for smart cities is correct because when people hear about smart word before the name of his/her city where they are living they already started to imagine how our city looks being a smart city and they stopped doing all bad things such as throwing rotten eggs, vegetables, dust on road they will throw in dustbin and if one people started then the other also start.

According to me, Smart city doesn't mean that big flyover long roads, new transportation services it means that how clean your city is. If the government made big flyovers or road in our city but on that the people of city throw their wastage like polythene, plastics or some other type of garbage then what is the benefit so for the smart city firstly clean city is mandatory and for clean city education is important. People have to be aware of the clean city and we have to plant more and more trees. Because the clean city and green city together makes a smart city. Thank you.

Myself Akramuddin and according to my point of view, the country like India do not need smart cities in some places rather, the need is to provide basic facility like road, shelter good quality of food, employment etc throughout the country.
