Hello, friends.

I would like to express my views in favour of the existence of smart cities. Yes, we really need smart cities as.

1. They are the sign of development in our country.
2. Smart cities have many facilities which normal cities don't usually have. Like free wifi in various localities, Metro train, mega malls etc.
3. Smart cities are preferred to keep clean which is helpful in keeping environment clean n healthy.
4. People become more active, advanced, cultured, punctual and educated by living in these cities.

HI All,

We need smart cities because of it gives a lot of employment, the daily wage earners are not going to metropolitan areas to earning purposes.

Because of these smart cities, people are aware of the internet, what is the need of education, how to elect?

The Good politician without attracting money, all social activities they are seen.

But in My point view, Really smart cities are not required because of now our country faces a lot problems like food, poverty, farmers suicides, shelters, illiteracy like that.

A smart city is truly the greatest good a country can get - considering social, economic and various other factors. But the "smartness" of a smart city can only be enjoyed if people get the 100% benefit out of it. If the current situation of our country is not changed (from a political point of view). All the benefits of a smart city will be washed away.

So, in my opinion, a smart city is truly a necessary asset. But it's better if we concentrate on eradicating the existing problems before starting a new development.

Yes, we really need a Smart City. But there should not be developing in the urban areas only. The village should be developed.

I will give one example. Suppose I am staying in the village and I want to get higher education but unfortunately I'm not able to go to urban areas because of financial situation. So I think whatever there is in urban areas, it should also be in rural areas. So poor peoples can take advantages. Lastly, I want to say If we want smart city then, first of all, we need to develop our village.

Certainly not now, May be 10 years later when our India is really equipped for such development as of now there is a lot of improvements and developments should be made in our education, environment, human resource development and unemployment. Firstly India has to put steps in improving the quality of life for each and every individual all over India and when we feel that we all become smarter we definitely need a smart city to equip us, but still we are not there and we need to travel a lot more to reach there.

I think we don't need smart cities as it is only working in files and in data only. Most of the plans already run by our government that is not practical and the government spend a lot of money already but now we have worked over a powerful practical plan. After smart cities launching the program we easily saw that the city which was declared smart have a heap of garbage everywhere and cities are not well planned. So firstly, we should focus that particular thing which is needed to develop a city in a proper way.

In my opinion, I think we don't need smart cities. Instead of investing heavily on the development of smart cities, the government can use that money to address problems like malnutrition, illiteracy, unemployment. Moreover, the majority of our population live in rural areas where the common people are still far away from basic needs like electricity, proper roads, sanitation facilities. So developing rural areas will stop the problems of migration and it develops our country as villages are back of our country.

In My point of view, smart cities concept is not useful. Our Indian economy totally depends on agriculture if we attend to only cities then a big gap will happen so we should implement first all required things for rural areas, then rural areas to people not will come to cities they come only just to earning. If government implement smart village program then definitely India will be developed. Lots of peoples are not aware of the skills and hence a big requirement for the smart village and not for smart cities.

Hi, Friends, I'm Krishan.

In my point of view, the smart city is really needed to develop our country. If our country develops then we are developing so we should check means of a smart city.

Smart city provide transportation like train, bus, well roads there is rule regulation and good education and main important is they provide a job for youth its help to our rural person also they can serve their product in the market and catch the new idea for farming and updation for all thing. So we need the smart city.

Yes, we need Smart Cities to improve the status of our country.

Smart technologies generally have enormous benefits including citizens, businesses, the government and the environment.

The concept of the smart city is influenced by the idea of developing the urban hubs which would be running on technology to provide better electricity and water supply, improve sanitation and recycling, proper traffic and transport management systems.

It have significant economic benefits which increase the labor productivity.
