Good morning/afternoon to all, this is Rahul Soni.
According to my point of view, we really need smart cities. At present India is not fall under the list of smart cities due to various corruption, lack of Artificial Intelligence, education system etc. Recent survey it is found that India may become a fall under the smart city and increment of 1.5% in GDP by using artificial intelligence at the end of 2030. It also play major role digitization of country like online banking, In Dubai, the driverless car is running on the road.

To make smart city is an good idea but to live in that city makes challenging to the middle class people. Firstly, the government ought to focus on to provide basic needs of human to the society; till now in some regions of the country, there is no electricity, gas connection and water supply. In our India, most of the people depend on agriculture, they struggle but they don't get their value of the product. Some of the people of our country struggles for these basic needs, if it will full fill then it becomes smart city itself.

I think we don't require smart cities at the right now situation. There are problems which really need to solve the backbone of a nation that is former they are still having many problems. First, those need to be resolved first then we should look out for smart cities. You know the one who gives food to the nation is dying today. Debt problems and recently many formers have suicided because of this. So, I think this should be the prime concern of the government. The government has to look after this. Then we need smart cities.

Yes, we do need Smart cities because.
1. A smart city would have good transportation infrastructure, proper solid and liquid waste management, isn't this we want in our cities.
2. A smart city concept is a target, which creates the potential for investment which ultimately results in the creation of jobs.
3. Considering the sheer volume of migration from villages to cities, our cities are not equipped to hold such number which results in the slum, traffic problems, overcrowded hospitals, schools, so smart cities are a must.

In my opinion, the smart city is a good idea especially for our developing country India. But before that it would be nice to use that money to create employment opportunities in rural areas, providing basic necessities for people, conducting workshops for people in rural areas to help them get aware of the opportunities available for them to grow their business. I think that this is necessary to provide equality for the growth of all areas so that the dream of creating smart city can be achieved without conflict among people.

Smart city is a must for sustaining life and improving the lifestyle, but more importantly we should emphasize on the education of every citizen. Are the citizens ready to adapt to the Smart technologies? e.g. What is the use of giving 2000 rupees note to an infant? Economy of the country also plays an important role because smart cities requires huge amount of investments. So its mandatory to cross check whether the changes intended would bring goodwill to the society or has a better chance of backfiring in some other ways.

Hello everyone,
I agree majorities opinion, In my perspective, smart cities are very much beneficial to a country like India but, we have to consider the other side too there are many people who are all still failed to meet their basic needs. We have to at least ensure that no-one in our country is suffering from hunger. Developing one side to the highest by leaving the other side to the dark is not at all fine in my view. After eradicating poverty we can implement our dream smart city and that will be actually benefiting.

Yes, we need a smarts city and everyone want the smart city. But it is only possible when people think about it that "how to clean the city" if every person does the effort to do it then it is a big initiative to made the smart city. And smart city doesn't mean the particular thing like as cleanness, security, safety, thinking etc. We made the smart city if we take the whole thing. And we make the smart city if we do the effort in technologies, eager to learned everything, and showed the contribution for every right thing.

Smart cities is a very innovative and transformative initiative by the Indian Government. Smart cities envisage smart infrastructure, smart people, smart exploitation of resources. The efficient transport system, better traffic management, steps to curb pollution is the need of the hour. So, India definitely needs smart cities. But smart cities project should be accompanied by smart villages, then only India will truly walk on the path of sustainable development. Otherwise, the rural-urban divide will only widen with time.

Yes, in my point of view, we should make a smart city but the for making the Mart city we have to start it from education, we make a educated society because in our India most of the person are poor because they are uneducated, if they are educated our beautiful India itself becomes smart, you will say how I say If they are educated they will not harm the environment by throwing wastes heir and their so conclusion is that first make the people educated it automatically make the smart India that all from my side.
Thankyou.
Thankyou.
