Yes, We really need smart cities.
I agree with all of you, that before making the city smart, we should try to make the people smart and villages smart but if we keep waiting to be every people smart and every village smart the country which is developing with us will overtake us soon and they will become developed. So smart cities are important.

Hi friends,
Definitely, we need smart cities because it will be going to improve our nation. To make country smart firstly we should concentrate on education. Education is more important in both cities as well as villages. Everyone should get an education. Then only we can make our nation smart.

Hi everyone,
At present, India is developing country and people are becoming more educated. Now we really need smart cities. But before thinking about smart cities think about smart people. For ex: In some states, people are fighting with each other because of religion. People should change themselves then only we need smart cities otherwise, we don't need it. Because if the government built the smart cities, but people are not smart then it is of no use this means simply wasting the money and time. In rural areas, people are more poverty than urban areas. The government Should provide more facility like building new schools and washrooms to them. There is more scarcity of water all over the country first the government Should focus on it and then it can think about smart cities.

Hi friends,
Yes, we need smart cities but before smart cities, we need to create a job for a people. When there is unemployment then how we developed smart cities. When we cross the hurdle of unemployment then automatically its effect on our society. And unemployment is removed by better learning. So, there a relation between all the things if we get education well then employment is not there, then people not below a poverty line and its support to making smart cities.

Well according to me, developing country like India should focus on the primary needs first. The Majority of the population lives in the villages. Most of them do not have even basic needs like roads, electricity, water supply, food and education. So rather than spending thousand of crore to make few smart city, the main target should be to improve the condition of villages, so that India develop evenly.
Secondly, our country is working on bullet trains, and the condition of the life line that is railways is getting worse day by day. Similarly rather than spending a huge amount of money to built bullet train, we should improve our railway and road system.

Hello, friends.
I would like to express my views in favour of the existence of smart cities. Yes, we really need smart cities as.
1. They are the sign of development in our country.
2. Smart cities have many facilities which normal cities don't usually have. Like free wifi in various localities, Metro train, mega malls etc.
3. Smart cities are preferred to keep clean which is helpful in keeping environment clean n healthy.
4. People become more active, advanced, cultured, punctual and educated by living in these cities.

Smarts cities are must for developed nations but India is developing nation so I think we should first focus on making people educated and improving our economic condition. Then after that, of course, we will be needing smart cities.
People in India are not mature enough to handle smart cities like on the first day Tejas train passengers stole things from it, broke things and made its condition worse. So, for now, we should be focusing on the development of our country first.

Of course, we need smart cities but this is not the right time to have it. India is still among developing countries, a number of illiterate people is more than that of literate people. They even don't know to use smart phones so obviously smart cities will be of no use to them. Rather focusing on having smart cities we have many other zones which need our attention. Yes, I agree that in many past years condition of villages are improved now but still number of villages are untouched from government schemes today those villages need our focus. We all heard about how Tejas train conditions get worst afters its 1st day of starting. Actually, Indian people are not enough matured to handle smart cities. And we can't just copy western things, first we need to be smart then only we can afford smart cities.

Yes, I do think that we need smart cities. It will ease the life of common man. Also, I t will encourage everybody to enhance educational level themselves. And get to know the latest things happening around the city. It will also encourage foreign trade import which will help in economy rise of a nation and also enhance tourism.

No, we do not need a smart city at this moment. First of all, we have to build the villages smart enough. Educate the people and make them hygienic. There are many villages till now where there has no power. So, first of all, we have to develop them. Then we will move toward smart cities.
Thank you.
Thank you.
