Do we really need Smart Cities?

Hi friends, definitely we need smart city because day to day life was even better. Actually, smart city means better facility. Good environment. Cleanness. Our honorable pm. Narendra Modi was declared Rourkela is one of them 28 other smart cities so we all are thankful for this decision but we all contribute to developing our city. And the most important thing was smart city increase our country economic growth. Education growth. Society growth. And a lot of other things developed. So doing smart work. Contribute our city and develop our country. Thanks.

Many people have different ideas about the smart city concept. The problem is that the vision of a smart city is small and the idea is old. If you mean digitization instead of smart cities then it would sound better.

If villages of this country are developed then people will shift from cities to villages and if we concentrate on the cities itself then people will move from villages to cities (for their betterment and trying to achieve their goals and Desires).

But the name smart city is to High-Fi for small changes such as efficient processes in banks and governments and cleanliness and stuff you get it right!

So our vision must increase beyond these small imaginations! And we must have a smart city which will not be overcrowded.

Easy movement for people and have efficient transportation.

I think we need smart cities because smart cities provides us the latest technologies and with the latest technology we can do work with less time. With the help of smart cities, there are so many benefits for the city like clean and hygienic and fastest transportation because the government is willing to start the bullets train. What we should not forget our backbone that is the agriculture first we have to develop the villages we can provide them all latest technology equipment for developing The villages. With the help of smart city is we can compete with the foreign countries as well. With lots of latest technology, we can reduce some working time. With the help of smart cities, it is we Who will get the most benefit of it. It Simplifies our work.

No, we don't. We can keep all our inventions and discoveries in big science parks, museums and land but we don't actually need them in our daily lives. They spoil the natural things gifted by God. We begin to forget about nature and run behind our Wants not Needs. And definitely, these things are not needed. We become selfish and do this because we want an easy life and become couch potatoes but we don't think about the plants and animals around us. Love in natural environment you will never get bored and will be disease free no need for wasting money on curing diseases. We need to take things sadly. We need to get our country on the path of development but also should be able to reserve what we cannot get again and again.

Smart cities doesn't mean that how much literate we are? It's all about how we can clean our country. It's every individual duty to keep the country clean then we can think about smart cities. Smart cities are important for the growth of a country but cleanness is the must.

It should have smart people, smart governence, smart mobility, smart in technology, smart in evironment development or say sustainable devlopment, and considering India as emerging power in world I think we really need smart cities. To compete with our enemies and to make INDIA reliable, strong smart cities mean a lot.

I agree with some opinions. Yes, a smart city needs but in our India, some villages are not developed in that people are not able to receive some basic needs like roads, water, education, first of all, our government provide to services them and next to develop smart cities.
