Truly speaking, every one of us would know that there are many other issues which need attention rather than developing a smart city. Nowadays, there are many frauds in banks, corruption, clean Ganga project and many others. In such a scenario we can't be thinking of such things. Yes, indeed the smart city is a good one but maybe we are not at that stage of being developed that we should go for it. Maybe somewhere down the line, we will eventually achieve it but according to me NOT NOW.

Hello guys,

In my point of view, yes, of course, we need a smart city but before this we need smart people. People are like bricks, and if we will use good quality of bricks and cement then building will be strong automatically. People of India are mostly uneducated and they don't have home and a proper school. So I think first, the government should provide a proper school in the village, job, electricity, water etc. When the people will get proper education proper job then the city will be converted into smart city. Government should decrease education rate, they should open a no. Of colleges, school.

What is smart cities? Means hospital, net banking, good education and health every one thinks about cities but in our India 70 present people are living in the village I agree but firstly develop our village because they provided food all India and we don't care about farmer so. Develop village then develop city then we can progress if we think about farmer Jay Javan Jay kisaan.

Smart cities are very much needed in a country for the overall development of a country. But for that, it is important to optimise the perception of people in that area towards society, humanity, education, and other social issues. More importantly, it is the duty the government to look to the prevailing issues of a particular area like infrastructure facilities of hospitals, schools, colleges, roads, bridges, agricultural farms with farmers, etc. Morover, building a smart city doesn't only refer to better connectivity between people by either roads or internet facility, but also changing the mindset of people living there towards women safety and empowerment.

That is purely my opinion.

Thank you.

Smart cities are the initiatives taken by the Indian government in order to make more IT cities. Smart cities are planned for smart ways of life. This program is aiming for the development of cities in order to attract the industries most likely the IT industries. This can lead to a smart way of living for the people. This will enhance the economy, infrastructure and lifestyle.

So smart cities should be welcomed by all.

First of all, you should look after the environment. You know about pollution in delhi. City was affected by smog and air pollution. A fact says that breathing in delhi is like to be smoking 100 cigarettes per day first of all we should save our environment by not polluting them. It can be done converting city in smart city. Better transportation should be made. Technology should be implemented to reduce pollution.

If we talk about smart city yes! we really need this for a new generation, the question behind this how we make the city smart ?its all depends on the people who are living there if people maintain there attitude positive and good towards the environment, Higgins, etc. Basically, collections of people make a whole city. So if they do good they get good. And there are no extra efforts required to make city smart.

You have to look both sides of a coin, pros and cons etc. Therefore, yes we need smart cities for the development of a country, which would result in proper empowerment, employment and education. It would mean investing in the IT, medical, infrastructure sector. But, we don't need smart cities until we have solved the problems which are related to the backbone of the country, as most of the population gets there livelihood out off agriculture, investment in agricultural or diary sector, solving the problems related to the debts of farmers resulting in there suicides.
