Do we really need Smart Cities?

Hi, I'm Avinash Sharma and I have much glad that I had been saying something on this topic about smart cities.

So, according to my point of view, of course we have also need smart cities because their lot works are done very late in our country and to this type of earlier work as at the time of pregnancy of every women whom has facing more difficulties to teach at the hospital due to traffic and unusual way like up down wards roads, for people also facing electric problems in summer season and also a much bigger problem for people which they have given much importance which is networking the servers are going to fail at critical stage for this we have to need smart cities.

In my opinion, we don't need of smart city we need of safe city where girls they can travels easily without any fear. We don't need of bullet train we need of good education we need of good compartment we need of safe life then after of this our country will automatically make a smart city.

As we know the people how to live in the village they don't know about the ceaseless traction they don't know how to use of internet and then our government work only in cities. They want to make metro cities so without develop village it cannot be possible.

So in my opinion, first we need smart education and safe city not smart city.

Well first answering your question that do we need smart cities the answer would be YES. But not now as you might have witnessed That the GDP has decreased to 5.6% from 7% from previous year. And there are lots of serious issue which needs to be addressed first.

India is a huge country it requires a lot of funds for making a city smart and at the same time we have other issues like malnutrition, poverty, illiteratcy, unemployment. So these things need to be sort out first.

Government should emphasize more on smart people instead of smart cities, making people aware of the happening in and around the world. Sooner or later smart city will turn into the dull one if people aren't smart enough.

As my point of view, We really need Smart Cities because if a city will be smart its surrounding rural area will be developed.

Because it's offer jobs to youth who belongs to the rural area. If youths of the rural area have a job then they will develop the rural area.

Another point is in a smart city all the man will smart they having the good technical skill and they also educated. The youth who comes from the rural area will learn a technical skill and other good things from the smart city so automatically the rural area will be developed.

The smart city also attracts foreign investor for investing in the smart city by which INDIA's economy will develop.

Yes, we really need a smart city. With the development of the smart city new roadways and highway will come into existance with the of this transportation became more speedy, trades will take places quickly. People will get better standard of living. Better hospital facility and treatment will get easily. Major of people are not getting a proper water facility, electricity, dumping system, drainage system etc.

By coming up with smart city people will enjoy a high standard of living and youngsters will get better education and a good job opportunities. Along with that our country's economy will also boost up and other countries will show up their interest to do business with our country.

I think that we need smart city but this time some rural area is not providing good electricity and water supply. Then first we need good electricity, drinkable water, hospital, school and good transport facilities for our rural area. We know that in India 60% population in the village and 40% population in city but 70% developing activity in the city so this time first we need develop rural area after that we can work on smart city and one main thing education will very important role for our country development. When we will provide good education theoretically and practically in every area then automatically people will make smart then our city will also be smart.

Friends we need smart cities because smart cities make us a developed country and to make India developed country, we have to make our society smart. To make our society smart we have to focus on the smart projects of India like e-e-governance and online transactions etc. Which reduces corruption of the country also. We the people of India should also focus on the greenery and the plantation of the country because smart cities have fewer plants than a village that increases global warming, so for a developed country we have to focus on both i.e. smart cities and plantation and provide proper education for the illiterate peoples that make our country developed one.

Not because if smart cities make in India than our education and development will be increased day by day. Yes, its right in present time our villager education is very bad because our government teachers do not want to do work, they go to school for teaching but they do not teach students, because he has understood if we will not teach that any person cannot do something. So, first of all, we need a well-educated society because when we will become educated than every person also will do work. So as you know very well if we do work hard than our economy and development problem will be decreased automatically.

I think smart city's project is good for our nation, for making smart city people have to become also smart and literacy rate also high for maintaining.

All those things. But when we talk about literacy there are a lot of leader in my country they have no any idea about society. These type of leader elected by ruler area and illite area. For resolving this thing election commission has to set the threshold education level for nomination of candidate according to literary rate of area. "If Area of literacy rate low candidate's educational qualifications must be high, If area of literacy rate good so candidate can easily judge by people who live in his area".

The idea of smart city is good initiative towards showcasing the development of country, but in my opinion, it is against the idea of inclusive growth. Instead of focusing on specific areas and pouring money into it, its better to utilize the fund effectively for the development of entire area in a gradual manner. The communication, the education institutions, healthcare and proper arrangement of employment if provided no area can remain undeveloped. Moreover, it will stop migration of peoples and concentration over the specific cities. Development is right of every citizen if not then Smart cities would be creating only another statistics of differential index.
