As we all know, many people are migrating from rural to urban areas and this number is seemingly increasing and it doesn't limit to India but also applicable to global context. So the need of the hour for cities is to get smarter to handle the upcoming issues related to large-scale urbanisation. Hence, Smart Cities Mission, urban renewal and retrofitting initiative started by Government of India.
Fareen: With the implementation of smart cities programme, Make in India initiative will also boom when the projects like DMIC, CBIC and AKIC comes into real picture which will contribute a lot to the infrastructural and economic growth of smart cities which are located nearby them.
Balu: During recent visit of Bruce Andrews to India, US Deputy Secretary of Commerce, he focused on India's need to address the barriers of doing business which have become roadblocks for extended trade between both countries. According to that trade mission, an agreement has been concluded in the presence of AP's Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu by Leocadia Zak director of US Trade and Development Agency, in regard to extending support to India's objective of developing smart cities.

Hi, my name is Sonali. In my point of view we really need smart cities because we all know that India is a developing country not developed. Do you think why all country said India is only developing? because we are smart but we don't try if we trying best we make our India smart.
We all need a smart country because in smart cities all people get good education, our area is always clean. So for progressing in world, we need smart cities.

Hello everyone,
Today we all are leave in 21st century so we really need smart cities. Because in smart cities we all gets good education and many opportunities. Our prime minister start the digital India program. To make our country smart, In smart cities, all people (urban as well as villages) learn about new technology.
We agree that today we have no much resources for providing good education in village. But when we take one step then we reach the destination.

Smart cities really will be effective if we have a corruption free country. So when the extent of corruption ends thus there begins an era of smart city revolution by using existing technologies.

Hi everyone, I am Sanjivani.
According to my opinion, yes we definitely need smart, but first, we must know that what is actually smart city, smart city mean's who contain all new technology with less consuming time as well as money. This city contains whole people must be educated & whose most mind set is smart. It is very useful if our government startup this smart city project from villages because actually the village guys are really intelligent but they haven't got any golden opportunity to present themselves in front of world hence they can't do anything. Hence I wish that government start their idea of smart city from villages. Then automatically it becomes smart village to smart city.

Hello everyone.
Myself Naina Shah.
Present here to express some view related to smart city.
I think yes we really need smart cities because every nation knows India is developing nation. But not yet developed. But our prime minister is trying to develop smart city for our welfare because of some abased peoples in our surrounding the condition of India is degradingday by day. If smart cities are structured then each and every child can fulfill his needs of education and can make there future bright. There will be no differences lies between urban and rural areas. The whole geographic al condition of India will.
Demonstrate in pure manner.
So I honorably request all my nation people to burnish the wrong thoughts that come in our mind regarding the nation India. We all should conjugate in such a manner so that no one can say any rubbhish query about India.
Because I think unity is strength when proper teamwork and collaboration is well maintained.
I HONOURABLY SUPPORT PM.

- As India is a developing country we need to work towards development of the infrastructure.
- The smart cities would bring about a change in the lifestyle of societies.
- That would be an example to the other rural areas to develop.

Hello,
Our topic is smart cities it is important for every developing country. It is important because every MNC looks forward only when they reach their stands. If we say smart cities people will talk about multiplex, hotels, motels, pubs, bars, towers, complex, but this not a real meaning of smart cities. We should develop our schools it means our education system, hospitals means our health and money mean banking, roadway railways means transport if develop all this then it is called smart city.

Hi.
An Idea of smart cities is fabulous but I don't think the country like India requires smart cities very urgently right now because I feel that politicians are using the tag "SMART CITIES" to woo the youngsters and gain votes. Keeping that aside, I really feel that before planning for smart cities we must actually think about coming out of poverty line & corrupted system. The focus must give on developing agriculture sector on which majority Indian population is still dependent. Getting out of poverty line & corruption will eventually pave the way towards a smart city which aims at happy living of people.
