Yes, we need smart cities.
Though mission objectives like good administation, affordable housing was good enough but good administration and proper use of fund is required in order to implement this mission in efficient manner.
Also, it provides a huge employment during the construction of these smart cities.

With the increase in population, the demand for automation is also increasing. Nowadays people want a comfortable life.
The lack of facilities like electricity, ATM, Internet Connections, Etc. , in the rural areas have become a point to ponder.
Due to this, people from the rural areas are shifting to urban areas which leads to the problem of urbanization. The people are migrating from one place to the another in search of a better way of living. Nevertheless, this effects and creates the problematic situations in urban areas where people have to suffer due to the migration of more people.
Instead of focusing on cities, one should make people living in villages be aware of a different kind of smart technology.
Till now many villages in India don't get the proper power supply.
Two-third of the villages in India still don't have a proper education system.
The government should take proper actions to fulfil the basic requirement of people living in rural areas.

In my point of view, the use of technology is increasing day by day so we need smart city, but without destroying environment. Rural people are shifting to the urban areas for searching employement, if there will be smart city, so they can easily get employment.
There are many features of smart cities like, reducing traffic, good level education, proper water management and drainage system, safety etc.
And I also think if people will become smart then city will become smart automatically.

Maybe, yes it is right.
Not because if smart cities make in India than our education and development will be increased day by day. Yes, its right in present time our villager education is very bad because our government teachers do not want to do work, they go to school for teaching but they do not teach students, because he has understood if we will not teach that any person cannot do something. So, first of all, we need a well-educated society because when we will become educated than every person also will do work. So as you know very well if we do work hard than our economy and development problem will be decreased automatically.
Now this time smart cities are more important.

In my point of view, a smart city is needed. The Government selected few states in India for this smart city.
The economic level is raising. Smart city develops the education level.
Reducing the traffic, and control the traffic. Going to some other place, to reach quickly for this smart city.
Reducing the accident. So many features in the smart city.
Thank you.

Hi everyone,
Yes we need smart cities which provides us good infrastructure, employment, education system, . Leads to.
Economical growth of country, safety&security,
But we shouldn't forget rural areas, villages.
As Mahatma Gandhi said, India's future is depends on development of villages. Because he travelled entire nation &he knows well wt is the part of villages in development of our Nation. In otherhand.
Prime minister Narendra Modi saying India's future depends on the smart cities, Because he travelling many countries which are developing by adopting smart cities.
If we convert whole country into smart cities by occupying farmers land by replacing with industries, .
It may happens that our generation ate only bread, jamoon, cake, fastood!
So Govt should provide Basic infrastructure and good education to all villages Along with this converting cities into smart cities will improve our country in better way,
Thank you guys.

To make smart city is an good idea but to live in that city makes challenging to the middle class people. Firstly, the government ought to focus on to provide basic needs of human to the society; till now in some regions of the country, there is no electricity, gas connection and water supply. In our India, most of the people depend on agriculture, they struggle but they don't get their value of the product. Some of the people of our country struggles for these basic needs, if it will full fill then it becomes smart city itself.

Good morning everyone,
According to me, we need smart cities because of day by day technology increases, new things were invented so to cope up with this we need smart cities but with this, we also need smart government. Smart cities not only about multi storage, buildings good infrastructure but it is also about to provide safety like providing safety (eg-cc tv and connect it to cloud (internet) so that if anyone in problem action can take quickly) it will also increase tourism in India which will increase Indian economy. We also need smart cities to connect small cities.
Thank you.

Developing smart cities are really a good initiative taken by government to connect the society with our modern technologies but for lower class people, it is still a challenge to understand such kind of things.
High poverty rate and the rate of death of farmers indicate that priority area investment is missing somewhere. Apart from that our recent connectivities like trains and public places are misused by our people themselves. So it will be only a matter of time when smart city will become dirt city.
So conclusively, India needed to invest money more in agriculture and the basic needs of people rather than making smart cities for now.
