Hello everyone.

The digital India program was accepted by the union cabinet on 20th Aug 2014. It was launched by the honourable PM of India Narendra Modi. Digital India os a project which really improves the quality of lives of many people. Its helps buyers meet sellers.

This is started with the aim of achieving three interconnected goals.

-> Availability of high-speed internet to each and every citizen.

Hello friends.

As we all know, India is in the 2nd rank of the highest user of the internet overworld. But they don't know the proper knowledge about internet. Fact also states that more then 85 % internet user in India don't know how to send message in gmail and don't know to how to text through it. First government should do some awareness program in the remote areas all over India.

On 20 Aug 2014 Digital India Program was accepted by the Union cabinet. And It was launched on 1 July 2015.

Our Digital target was.

1) 2 & half lakh villages will be connected by Broadband connectivity till 2019.
2)4 lakh public internet broadband will be.
3) 2 & half lakh wifi, a hotspot in schools and in University will be.

But What problems are there-.

1)optical fibre is not spreading as it was decided before. Only 500 km till it is spreading but it was decided with 30 thousand km.

2) There is a deficiency of 2 Lakh Telecom towers.

But if our this project will complete then it will be Beneficial for every citizen will help in paying bills, dish TV bill, cashless transaction, e-education and many more uncountable benefits are there.

In my opinion, digital India is a very appreciative and welcoming step initiated by the government of India. As it is clear by its term "Digital India" everything that was being processed manually is now been digitalized. Now almost every transaction is done by electronic means. A very large section is benefitted by this initiative like people of corporate/banking sectors, students and all the other section of workers who are indulged in technical business. It's resulted in reduced cost, reduced time in completing the tasks, reduced manual errors and increased inefficiency along with more reliable results due to decreased manual interventions. As well as the Government has now more control over the activities like tracing the unethical activities and keeping an eye over the actions to prevent scams in a country like information related to money laundering. Overall a large section is benefited with this step.

According to me, Digitalization brought a lot of changes in the lifestyle of humans which can make things easier. Today, we are using technology that didn't even exist for 10 years. Mobile phones have become so important in our life for daily communications. From computers to electric vehicles, everything has impacted our lives in so many ways. But the question is who does this digitalization benefit a lot. I think it's not humans who got the most benefit from it. It's the companies who make use of digital technologies to do business. We can see that there are a lot of companies that generated billions of revenue by going digital. Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Jio, and there are so many big companies that are well-known companies that work in this sector. Companies used digital technologies for doing marketing, hiring, and training their employees. If we compare India with other countries like the united states, then we can see the difference. We are a lot behind them. India is a country of more than 132 crore people and a large number of the Indian population don't even know properly how to use new technologies. This difference shows that digital India has not benefitted the people of India but the growing net worth of the digital companies mark that the companies have done great use of digitalization. In my opinion, digital companies should make use of technology in such a way that it impacts the life of a lot of Indian people who are living far away from urban cities in a positive way which can help improve the situation of education in rural areas and create a lot of opportunities for the young people who wants to work in the digital sector.

1) Digital India was launched by the Government Of India. It is a good initiative by the Minister Of India to make our country digital, because of digitization peoples do their personal and professional work anytime and anywhere. They access all details using digital functionality.

2) We know due to covid-19, we suffer lots of problems, banks were closed that time we have done all transaction using UPI (Unified Payment Interface), Net-banking etc. Without standing in a queue at the minimum time that makes it easier using digitalization.

3) In Pandemic all schools and colleges are closed. No physical resource is available for students but using an online platform students to connect with education is a big thing done by digitalization.

4) This is the last but not the list digitalization is very helpful for Agriculture and our farmer brothers, using Artificial intelligence they grow their Traditional farm to Urban farm And Using mobile Apps they connect directly to the customers without interrupting Third Party they sell their goods to the customer and increase their profit in less time in affordable rate.

This concept introduced by GOI, after demonetisation it is widely spread.

Digital India is beneficial for the urban area as people over there are well educated but gov. Should create more awareness about this for the overall progress of our country.

Merits:

1. Save time.
2. Transaction can do anytime anywhere.
3. Transparency in process.
4. No paperwork so we save trees, happy environment.
5. Go cashless.

Demerit:

1. Online fraud.
2. Hacking.
3. Sharing bank details.
4. Old citizen doesn't trust easily on this process.
5. Rural areas doesn't get the benefit.

Digital India is benefiting all the public who are aware of it and also benefiting the government of India.

All the public who have access to the cellphone and internet can now transact anytime anywhere to anyone.

Linking Adhaar is simplifying the process of providing various government schemes to the consumer directly without involvement of the third party making it a direct government to public contact. Students, youth, businessmen are mostly benefited under digital India.

Government is benefited as there is reduction in cash circulation in the market and there is more money in the system.

Bhim, google pay, paytm and other applications have simplified the transaction process and and may be doing more as it is a continous process.

And I think may be there a disadvantage of it but there is a problem in handling it.

As the major concern comes 1st is data privacy and security.

2nd is hacking.

India is a huge market of data consumption so there need to be a proper secure data storage and so problems need to be curved in interest of the public.

Digital India idea taken by the prime minister Narendra Modi is a very good step. As we are living in the 21st century and techno- savy generation we need to be equipped with digital knowledge. This generation people use the internet, phone, do net banking and due to the internet, they can do online shopping everything can be done online and verified. Due to the concept of digital India, we can get rid of the black money, there will be total transparency in the transaction and so on. Bt rural people are not benefitted with this idea due to the fact that they don't have any knowledge regarding the internet and online transaction. They need to be taught all such things.

Hi, everyone.

Every topic/section have two-part that is positive or negative so there is also both. So, I want to say that digital India is good/benefited for particularly selected sectors like, getting the information as we want, online payments like e-commerce, e-business, all type of tickets payments, but not for money transfers to one place to another one account to other account because somewhere we are at risk of lost money. We should do it manually, according to banking procedures.

1. Fraud.
2. increasing compliance.
3. most people's are confused because of more online payments features are there.
4. additional charges and minimum balance requirements from every bank.
5. many times online payments are stopped in a Middleware of transaction and after sometimes, this transaction will be cancelled and money also deducted from your account.

So, these are the major issues in online money transfer.

Thank you.
