Digital India is an initiative taken by the Indian government to empower our nation. Digitalization of India is the need of the hour. With a vision of Digital India, the Indian government has passed the budget for this financial year.

Digital India is beneficial for everyone. It is working to the root level of India. As we all have gone through a horrendous Pandemic, it is only the digitization that made our life a bit easy.

When a person wants to get a licence for manufacturing medicine, he was supposed to pay the license fees in cash only. So if an officer charges more than usual fees, it could not be detected to that person. But now a person has an option that he can pay online also. This is how public sectors are becoming more transparent with the help of the DIGITAL INDIA movement. And corruption is reducing day by day.

And this is how people who are willing to proceed for their work in an uncorrupted way are getting benefitted.

To make it Susseccful there was a big hand of reliance group (Jio), who Provided us internet service first at free of cost and after one year at an affordable price.

Everything has two sides.

Advantages of digitalization.

- We can paid our electric bill, house rent, school fess travelling ticket etc. Easily without wasting time & energy and also transferring the money without going to bank.

There are a lots of online Plateform who provides us better discount while paying bills, upi transaction etc to save our money.

Disadvantages of digitalization.

-Spreading fake news, Spreading someone private pictures, blackmailing, hacking of bank details is a biggest disadvantages of digitalization.

The initiative of Digital India has brought a great success for the Indian citizens. This was evident in the pandemic period where all the corporates, schools were closed down.

With the help of digitization the employee can work from their home there was no requirement to go to their offices for work. There was no requirement for the people to stand in long queue at chemist shops as they can order their medicines in online platforms. The educational system was saved from getting hampered by the introduction of online education platforms where the students can fruitfully continue their studies.

Digitization helped all the sectors in the economy specially in the pandemic period.

As the topic suggest the positivity of our country's development. Digital words mean the working process would be easy for the people of our county. I strongly support this motion of digital India in a positive way as it helps us in providing benefits in the way of making you feel comfortable. Like talking in respect of paying the bill while sitting at home, electricity bill, water bill, etc and also paying money transfer to another bank while spending too much time in a bank it gives us to save our time while doing work in little time.

Digital India plays an important role in every individual life. It makes our life easier. We don't have to stand in a queue for depositing our money we can send our money to anyone staying in our house. It saves our time and also it makes our India a cashless India.

But still, this is only benefits to those people who know how to use these apps many of the people in rural areas are unaware of these apps they are still doing the conventional method because of illiteracy or unawares. So this digital India is beneficial for those people how are aware of a new app and know how to use it.

Merits.

1. Peoples do smart work rather than hard work (use of the internet).
2. Availabilities of things in villages also (online shopping).
3. Information and news easily spread with the help of social networking.
4. Almost everything becomes transparent.
5. Ant many more merits.

Demerits.

1. The security issue is the main demerits of digital India, everything is in a cloud so it is easily accessed by the hackers.

For every thing, there will be some advantages and disadvantages. Let's discuss some disadvantages of digital India:.

1. Small retailers in India deal only with cash and have not been able to invest in the digital infrastructure.
2. Very high amount (funds) is required to implement digital India plan.
3. Uneducated people cannot able to understand.
4. Though software can be developed for this, yet the software can be easily hacked.
5. Digital Communication has completely ignored the human touch and personal touch cannot be established.
6. The establishment of Digital Communication causes degradation of the environment in some cases. "Electronic waste" is an example.
7. The vibes given out by the telephone and cell phone towers are so strong that they can kill small birds. In fact, the common sparrow has vanished due to so many towers coming up as the vibrations hit them on the head.
8. Higher power consumption is required for digitalization.
