Can we dream of hosting the Olympics?

Yes, we can dream one day but not right now. Dreaming and making it a reality is two different thing. Last time in Rio Olympics we had seen that Brazil was in no position to host an Olympic due to its internal politics which becomes a problem for athletes, which ultimately hampers Brazil 's name.

So, In order to organise Olympics, first, we have to focus on infrastructure for games like boat racing, golf etc. , we had to make sure our political system is stable, the opposition is supporting the rural parties and coordinated efforts from every will make it possible and India is capable of organising such events. In past India had organised commonwealth, ICC world cup, FIFA u17 world cup, so it can also organise Olympics, All we have to do is a coordinated effort from everyone and keep it free from corruption. And we can surely achieve this.

Regarding the questions that can India dream of hosting the Olympics my answer will be a big Yes. As we know that India is the fastest growing major economy in the world So India has all the potential to host the Olympics in future. We know that India is a developing country but it can take an example of china which successfully hosted the Olympics in 2008 despite being a developing country.

But Major obstacles in this thing is the lack of proper sports facilities and infrastructure.

India is lagging behind in the performance in Olympics because it spends very less amount of its GDP for the National athletics. The main thing India needs to do is to build the sports infrastructure and provide the world-class training and equipment to their national athletes, So for dreaming of hosting the Olympics India have to focus on both the factors.

Yes, we can dream of hosting the Olympics but not anytime soon. As we know India is a developing country and hosting Olympics would require a lot of money, time, manpower, infrastructure etc. Right now this money could be used for more pressing economic concerns such as poverty. Right now the government should be using this money for the better development of this country. The government should use its sources to address certain other major issues such as corruption, illiteracy, poverty, providing basic hygienic conditions to its people etc. In the end I would to like to conclude by saying that YES we can dream of hosting the olympics but dreams don't work unless we do. So first the government should work to eradicate corruption, poverty and illiteracy from this country and then we might be able to host the Olympics in the distant future.

According to me, we can dream of hosting the Olympics? Sure! We can even dream of touching the sun if we want to. But that doesn't mean we should actually attempt such a feat, at least in the near future.

India, our beloved country, is a developing nation. While the hard work of every individual is recognised and the peaks of glory that our country once stood on, and can stand on, is undoubted.

The Fact remains, that currently, a lot is lacking. The rural areas need better facilities, more children need to be cured and even more need to be given a chance at education. Corruption needs to be eroded from its roots, which was clearly rampant during the Commonwealth Games.

Without addressing these issues first it would be boisterous of the government to attempt to host the Olympics just to put on a show for the rest of the world.

Hosting an event like the Olympics require great investment and planning from our country's side taking account of our countries situation. But its not an impossible thing. See, its so amazing that we 've got 69 medals in this Asian games signifying that we have an amazing panel of athletes. Though we 've no scope of hosting Olympics in the near future it is possible by a tactic planning.

It's inevitable that we should honour our champions. But in my point of view instead of granting them crores, that money could be funded for this dream. Further, constructing stadiums should be greatly entertained so that we'll have a number of upcoming athletes. Giving them much better training would bring us great achievements in the future and gradually there will be more to aspire and realise this very dream of hosting the Olympics in our country.

Hosting cricket is way different from hosting Olympics games.

Even when you compare ICC WC with FIFA WC, ICC WC is nothing in front of FIFA WC.

Yes, Its may be bitter but that's the truth.

In FIFA WC 32 countries participate in ICC WC roughly 8-10 countries participates.

Hosting any big event required finance, infrastructure, facilities etc.

We lack some of this.

Under great leadership of NATIONAL CORRUPT PARTY; we saw what happened with commonwealth games.

Under BJP we can see development.

And PM Modi is playing vital role in making this possible,

If we saw positive results in FIFA U17 WC,

Than we can saw that we are in right direction in hosting Olympics games in future.

Yes! We can dream of hosting Olympics in India. Because India is the 4th largest economy and it will be the biggest boost for our Indian athletes who often complain about poor sports infrastructure. But the major issue is the money being spent on building those infrastructures let's take the example of Greece and Beijing Olympics, the sports infrastructure just lies unused or underused. Secondly, corruption cases during Commonwealth games which is still going on whereas the convicts are roaming freely. If we overcome these issues then the career in sports becomes dependable and our parents don't push everyone into Engineering or medical. And India becomes no.1 country in Olympics. It's not like India can't win a medal it's the atmosphere created by our previous generations that only studies can define a person.

Olympics is a big event in sports in which a no of games are played among players of different countries. It has been playing in different countries but never in India.

Of course India can host the Olympics but before that govt should focus on infrastructure for sports and increase no of sports academies for rural area players. To host the Olympics it requires a huge amount so govt should focus on basic necessities of the poor instead of hosting the Olympics.

There are some merits also.

Firstly, tourism in India will increase it also increase foreign companies in India and encourage them to place in our country it will decrease unemployment. It will attract foreigners. At last, I want to say it is not a question can we host the Olympics question should be this how it impacts on our country.

I think this is literally right because India have not such a potential to host the olympics. They have not good infrastructure. As well as Indian are not aware about the other game except cricket. In our society people are thinking to get something in future. You must have read or playing cricket. So how can we think about to host the olympic in our country. Recently our government is focusing toward other sport they are investing money for awareness about other sports like football. Our football team do well in the recent games. But we donot know any one of the player name. Because we are not intrested toward this. And the major problem is our government if we host the olympic then 80% of our fund engulf by our leader. Due to this all circustances we cannot thing about to host such a big game like olympics. That's all;.

Yeah, absolutely, India is one of the developed countries right now, sports is being equally encouraged as entertainment in India, many players are given training by the government itself they also provide every need to them if they are below the poverty line and have a high ambition in sports, looking at the government across sports need to developed because in India the only sport given international recognition is cricket but in Asian countries like China give equal importance and provide funds for all the sports by this they hosted the Olympics I'm not saying that lets compare with China, we also have resources, funds, environment space to get a stadium developed, and organize a good opening ceremony but if we still hesitate to allow every sports and player to play in India, even dreaming becomes difficult.
