Can we dream of hosting the Olympics?

Yes, of course, we can dream of hosting the Olympics. But before planning to host Olympics we need to meet our needs. There are many things that are needed to be taken care in our country like poverty eradication, job creation, energy security, around the clock power supply, and many other basic requirements of our people. We are also having a deficient budget. Yes, our country can host the Olympics after becoming self-sufficient and with the surplus budget, it can host the Olympics.

I partially agree with some of my friends. What's my opinion is that there is no doubt that we are currently the world's fastest growing economy and we are able enough now to conduct world level event like Olympics. Yes, we have also done it in 2012 and showed the whole world by successful event commonwealth games. But do you think are we justifying by dreaming of hosting the Olympics?

No. Can you imagine out of 1.25 crores, around only 100 sportsmen qualify for Olympic or any world level event? What is the reason behind it? Only dreaming that yes we are able enough to host an event is not important. We need to think and it is a high team to analyse where we are lacking. India has a number of a sportsman, the only need is to provide them with a better platform. When we will have number sportsman more will qualify and the probability of their win chances would be more. I will say when our country will b more enough to produce a huge army of fit sports person who can challenge any country in terms of any sports event. Then we can dream of organising Olympics. Is it not shocking for you all, that out of 1.25 crore Indians the only girl Deepa Karmaker belongs to Gymnast. Think Here we are lacking. We need to increase this number. So we need to work on providing better platform better environment to all the Indian who wants to live their life as successful sportsmen. Whenever we see the country organising Olympic they compete more strongly. More no of gold silver & bronze medal. And we only expect at least one medal should come for India. So, guys, our expectation must be high & it is only possible when we will have abundant sportsmen in each n every sports event. If it happens then we can dream of having Olympics in our country.

Yes, India can dream to host the Olympics. Indian will expense lost of money while hosting Olympics. If India has this much of money then the goverment should develop eastern states, like Bihar, Jharkhand by providing good education facilities, industrial development. I think this is more important than Olympics.

Yes, it's true that hosting the Olympics is just a dream for India. Of course, we have a lot of benefits if such kind of event happens in India. But every coin has two sides. The major problem with India is corruption. If we talk about common wealth games then they spend 195 crores for time equipment. All the firms those are offering the equipment and services at lesser cost were rejected. Actually, in India, everybody wants benefits of their relatives their loved ones they don't care about the country. India gets ashamed at international level for such kind of act. Athletes were ready but the equipment was not there.

In my personal opinion, first, we need to tackle these issues. We need to find the solution for these kinds of things. Today what is dream tomorrow we will host that dream. We have potential to do everything but first, try to figure out the problems and their solutions. Everybody wants his/her nation at the top of the world. At the time of common wealth games, a bridge collapse near Jawahar Laal Nehru stadium our Indian army rebuilt that bridge within two weeks. It's amazing job done by our army. Every where there is corrupt people as well as good people. If we start our preparation today then definitely we one day we will be the host of Olympics.

Yes, India has the potential to organise such a big events. But before that, we need to improve our infrastructure, transportation facilities, security facilities. The biggest drawback in India is corruption that's why hosting Olympic is just a dream for us. Here is not so much good platform for every field and due to the lack of opportunity many good sportsperson are unable to win medals for us. So to fulfill the dream of hosting Olympic we need to think for our country instead of ourselves.

Yes, India can host am Olympics, our country is in the path of progress, to become a developed country India needs to eliminate corruption from its roots and should improve infrastructure and other basic amenities. India has hosted many events like commonwealth games, Asian games etc but Olympics is the bigger event with the participation of 207 nations in 306 events. India needs better facilities to conduct Olympics. In my first opinion, Indian sportsman should be better facilities like other countires, more people should be encouraged to sports, India is capable of contributing more olympic medalist to the world.

Taking a view on present situation India is not in a position to host the Olympic
few reasons are:

1) The basic and major problem for India is corruption,as it was in CommonWealth games.
it is very difficult to track corruption in Olymic scenario because the chain will be large.

2) India doesn't have a proper infrastructure to host the game, India is unable to provide its athletes with proper facilities, how will it provide facilities to athletes of about 205 countries participating in Olympic.
-> Moreover, you require more hotels for the migrating tourist guest.
-> Whole scenario of the city has to change.

3)Traffic management of Indian cities in normal working days, you know that very well we often stuck on traffic anytime anywhere. it can't be managed during the Olympic festival.

4)Security from Terrorist.
I also want our country to host OLYMPIC but the above reason act as real hurdle for our country.

Hello everyone, At this time, when an economy is not stable due to demonetization, India should not host the Olympics as it requires a huge amount of rupee as well as the infrastructure and Olympic is an international game, requires a business environment to manage it. In short, India is a developing country, not a developed country. Before dreaming of Olympics India should concentrate on Literacy rate, economy stabilisation and also for the infrastructure because these all requires for hosting the Olympics.

Ofcourse we can. We should never quit dreaming. Right now it's not financially good for India to host olympics as it is a developing country and olympics needs huge amount of money. There is lots of thing which India should have to do to transform this dream into reality. At very first we should have to vanish the corruption. Such that our government will have more money to organise this. And the recent govt is doing a lot for decreasing corruption. Hope this dream will soon come true.
