Hello, everyone. I want to share my view about the topic.
"Are Indians less Quality Conscious".
I am in both favour and against.
In favour, because India is not a poor country but our mentality is that if we see getting more. Then we select that. However, sometimes it proved as a good decision. But quality always matters this is fact. But in India, there are a number of middle-class people they want to have the good quality product but they have to compromise with more quantity in less money. To maintain their budget.
In against because nowadays people getting aware of buying the good quality product. They don't worry about the money where they see quality.

Hii friends,
It's a good topic for discussion. I don't agree with this topic. As from my point of veiw, India is developing country and all peoples want the good quality product. They check the quality of the product. But, we know India has more population density and not all are richer almost, 80% peoples are from middle class and they can't afford the expensive product.
All peoples want a good quality product with cheap price. So India also conscious about the quality. They also concern the quality of the product and buy the best one.

Actually NO, it depends on availability and capital, a villager who is buying vegetable which is fresh in low price but, if a guy buying veggies from another area though he has money he not getting that fresh vegetable.
Another issue is money, almost all class of people when they buy something it doesn't mean poor buys something blindly something, quality matters for them too, they buy also by checking the things in their budget.

Quality is the standard of products as measured against prices. Quality awareness on an individual basis depends on upon the individual awareness of the environment and the meaning of the quality. Companies regularly do the quality awareness test for their product to make improvisation and remove waste from their products to provide the user-friendly and safe product to their customer.
India being one of the poor countries in the world and Most of the Indian peoples are middle class whose income are not so good, they somehow manage to feed their family members and provide shelters that's why they don't focus much on the quality of the product. And the lower class people never dream of quality product.
India is a developing country and the peoples of India are presently not so aware of the environment and the meaning of the quality. But the Young generations of India are aware of the meaning of quality and they are more focussed on the quality of the product.
Indian market is flooded with the cheap Chinese product Lower class people of India focus on the price rather than the quality of the product. So, Lower class people of India are the best consumer of the Chinese product as they are very low in price.

We all Indian are less quality conscious because we always looking for factory sale, discount, quantity, and looks we never bother about quality. Today tele-shoping and online shopping are in great boom where we buying goods without seeing we just attracted by the price. The reason behind this is average salary in India is four-time lesser than China and ten timed lesser then Japan we just think about quality.
But we can not afford. One more reason is illiteracy people doesn't even know what is quality.

Hello, friends, I think there is a huge gap between Indians who are quality conscious and Indians who care only about using things that are cheap or less expensive (these products lack in quality). That is why on one side we see people who are enjoying the benefits of quality products while on the other side we see people who keep on using mediocre products. The biggest reason for this is the cost factor. Most of the quality products are priced high, while mediocre products are comparatively cheap. India still is a country of savers of money. Here people are willing to compromise on quality if it saves them money. A simple example is people drinking tea/coffee in a steel glass instead of using a cup just because steel glass is cheap and coffee mugs are expensive. It is still a long way when we can say 'Yes! We Indians are quality conscious'.

India a developing country which is indeed of quality. However, the people who are living in India can't be designated. They give a major role in the economy of India as well the importors to India.
A large population is a traditional live in India therefore much of them prefer to the quantity that of quality. The scenario is constantly changing in India, people had started to check for quality.

Hello, freinds. I respect your opinion but in my point of view, we Indians are not less quality conscious. Since the awareness is spreading all around. Everyone is moving towards their stable and good state. People are getting employment. This helps to generate income which further helps to make us quality conscious. But also other than quality other factors influenced us to look things like choice and affordability.

I think, I completely disagree with this pointless quality and more quality is dependent upon the economic condition. As we know that India is developing country and second largest population country hence it is not possible to everyone to go with quality some of think about quantity because there are many in there family.

Hello Friends,
According to me, Indians are not surely less conscious. Because they are making own decisions and also taking caring for others. This is based on the individual persons. There are situations will be different. So, according to this, they are performing. Not surely they have less conscious.
Thank You.
