Not at all. According to me in this time we have become more conscious about the quality of a product or something. It's also true that we were not even aware of this word 'QUALITY' in our previous time or we can say that we were so miser and quantity oriented not quality. But now we prefer BRAND. It doesn't mean that we have become rich. Kanjoosi is in our blood. We only buy a branded product when there is 40%, 50% or up to 100% off its just because we have become smart enough to manage our money without compromising the quality.

Hi, friends,

I think it depends on the scale of living. If I am rich I would spend any amount to get a good quality product. If I am the medium class person I will try to get as much as a good product I need in my budget. If I am poor then I just want whatever is available for me.

Hi, friends.

In my opinion, Indians are never less quality conscious. Everything depends on income. In India there are three types of family one is upper, second is middle and third is lower. According to their status, they try to buy best and branded quality. Everybody wants cheap and best but the quality is mandatory.

To some extents they are. What I think is that in spite of giving much focus on quality, they stress more on their price. This is especially valid to that rich staratum who just live to flaunt what they have.

Even if the quality is poor and price is high and on the other hand same thing with better quality is available at some cheaper rate, they will go for the first one. And the reason for it. Simply it's sky touching price.

Such as taking case of Reliance Fresh selling vegetables. Everyone knows that most of the time, all veggies and fruits have been kept for 3-4 days, they are put in air condition so that they appear fresh, still those Richy rich will buy only these vegetables and they will never go for roadside sellers who sell at lower price and their vegetables are the freshest. There are various similar instances.

While this is not valid for all, there is large proportion who strive to get stuff at lower price with the best quality. So my conclusion, at last, would be that "these people" should change their mind. If you are buying something whether from a multi-storey mall or a roadside stall price does not matter. What matters is quality. (not for everything).

Quality is essential everywhere and it's viewed in terms of conformance, fitness to use, the price paid, performance etc. ,

India is a developing country and also a quality conscious one, why the above statement I made is that, people of India and the government of India are becoming more and more conscious of each and every product or work they do, hence the usage of low-quality goods of China are becoming down day by day, the working quality of Indians are enhancing hence Indians are in the highest designated job worldwide too, and it's not the ultimate quality to be achieved, quality is concerned with day to day development and improvement, being a developing country India is in its own conscious about quality.

Hello, Friends.

As per me, Indians have become quality conscious from last 2 years due to awareness by advertisement and other sources.

You all must have observed that as per the earning, every Indian choose the best product which suits to his pocket and has the sustaining ability for the long period.

Basically, it is a thinking that we buy good products for maintaining our living standard in corporate.

Live example of choosing quality products are increasing the business of brands such as Levis, Puma, Raymond, Adidas, Nike etc.

Conclusively we are moving ahead with more conscious about the quality of the product.

My opinion about this is partially yes. Most of the people are money minded, so they want to buy a good quality product with low cost, but quality depends on the cost. If cost is high is high, quality is high. So they use less quality conscious. Thank you.

Whenever we need quality we go for it.

India is the second largest populated country after China. In India we can see different economical & educational levels of the peoples. Depends on their financial status and awareness towards the quality of the products they are buying the things. In India, poor peoples are compromising with the quality as their main focus is to fulfil their primary needs. Peoples are checking for long-term utility and more quantity at less price, the entire population we can't say less conscious about quality overall it depends on the economical & educational level of the Indian peoples.
