Hello friends,
Yes, Indians are Quality Conscious. But everyone makes their decision on their economic position and choose the best availability quality based on it.

Yes, I think Indian is a less quality conscious, before buying anythings we first she cost, if we are getting more in less money we choose that product. But I think quality product should be chosen because it will be a long lasting one. Let me give an example I have bought a bag of 300 rupees and after 3 months it is of no use then I have to buy another like wise we are spending more if we are preferring quantity instead of quality whereas if I have bought a quality product that it might be a long lasting one.

I agree with a point that Indians are less quality conscious because what I feel that they are giving their preference first to quantity than quality. If that same looking product in less value than they first attract to that only.
Most common Eg. Of the same are the 1st copies of top brand stuff's.

Hello, everyone. I want to share my view about the topic.
"Are Indians less Quality Conscious".
I am in both favour and against.
In favour, because India is not a poor country but our mentality is that if we see getting more. Then we select that. However, sometimes it proved as a good decision. But quality always matters this is fact. But in India, there are a number of middle-class people they want to have the good quality product but they have to compromise with more quantity in less money. To maintain their budget.
In against because nowadays people getting aware of buying the good quality product. They don't worry about the money where they see quality.

No, Indians are not less quality conscious, as we know that this decision depends on the salary they are getting. If a person is getting a good income he will surely go for good quality but if you are not able to deal with your daily requirements then you have to compromise in quality and quantity. Quality may matter but quantity is the only thing with which poor are dealing with.

I agree with the topic what we are discussing here. But, from my point of view. Indians should need to concentrate more about the quality of anything. Because the quality plays a major role in all facts.
Some pupil's here are saying about the economic conditions. I agree with that point. But, I would like to say that to be aware of quality.
Conclusion: Hence, Indians are less quality conscious.

Sometimes it seems to be true, for example, buying of dress, thought they are not qualitative for the sake of wearing for few times, the people will buy them. Not only this, we can even see the housewife who looks the discounts or 1 + 1 offers etc without a second thought they will buy it. I think the quality is not important all the times, it depends on our mindset and our usage.

Yes, I agree, I know our mindset is like this if we are getting more from somewhere then we give priority to that thing and many times it also proves as a good decision. But we don't do this every time. If we have enough money for something then we don't compromise with quality. Our quality compromises by our quantity (money).
In India we most of the people belong to a middle-class family. So sometimes to fulfill our needs we have to compromise with quality.

Its Sad to note that Still Indians are not quality conscious and just look into any products price band. And end up buying products of low quality especially food items. Today many Food products sold in the market are unhealthy using cheap variety ingredients and more chemicals. No one has realised to stop buying low quality products because today they are not affected and forget to note that its slow poison to health.
Today high-quality products are only exported and secondary quality products are sold in India to give the low price in India. Make the Change to Buy only Quality products so automatically low-quality products can be removed gradually.

Hello, everyone.
I also believe in the fact that it all depends on the economic status of the consumer. Richer sections look for quality, poorer sections look for quantity while middle class looks to strike a balance somewhere between quality and quantity.
But one point I would like to mention is that sometimes the quality of a product can be increased without adding much to the price tag. This is where we are lacking.
For eg. Consider the case of street vendors in India.
Bhelpuri, panipuri, chaoley bhuttere wallahs and others can definitely improve the quality of maintaining cleanliness and hygienic conditions around them by wearing gloves, aprons and cleaning utensils with clean water without adding much to their budget but they prefer not to.
Because somewhere they still believe that lower or middle-class people are still not quality conscious.
Thanks.
