Yeah!

When an Indian buys other country product the quality goes down.

If all INDIAN TAKE A CHALLENGE AND BUY ONLY INDIAN PRODUCTS. I'm sure the quality will be on top of all.

As my opinion, Nobody wants to buy bad quality products. It just depends on the financial condition. India is a developing country and here Majority of the population are middle and low class. So they need to think their budget before buying anything. So according to me, Indians are not less quality conscious rather situation make them less conscious.

I don't think that Indians are less quality conscious. Yes, it may be right for the earlier time when people of India are illiterate.

But now people are well educated and aware for the quality of products.

Hello guys!

In my view, INDIANS are quality conscious people. I strongly support my answer because as the India is a heavily populated country there exist a different kind of people here in India. Accordingly, most of the less populated countries are being helped by the Indians to grow up their revenue. In my sense, if the Indians are not quality conscious then why the other country people accept us to get into their countries and make Indians the millionaires and the billionaires.

According to me,

If you consider the whole nation that is India, with a large population, different types of people, with great diversity, we can not give a statement that Indian are less Quality conscious. Quality increses with price or cost. If you try to reduce the cost the quality will automatically affect.

So the conclusion is, it depends on the income or money that the person is having.

Also, India has been in Jugaad system as we all know. Somewhere for getting profit, saving time, we as indians have developed this system which reduces the quality.

Hello Everyone,

I think generalizing all "Indians" to be either quality conscious or not would be irrational.

Compromising with the product one buys is purely a subjective matter. Some do not compromise with the quality at all because they have the money and wealth to do so. Others have to buy what is available on the market within their budget.

Being quality conscious also depends on the type of the item we are talking about. It is very rare that one compromises with the quality when it comes to sectors such as food and health because almost everyone wants the best in these sectors from the market (irrespective of the money we have in hand). On the other hand, in other things which are not included in our basic necessities, we often tend to be less quality conscious.

For example, one who needs a bypass surgery would want the best medical consultancy in the town and the best surgeon to perform the surgery. On the other hand, the same person may be spending minimally on the clothes he wears, the service center where he drops his car for service, etc.

So in my opinion, this kind of "Indian quality consciousness" (if you want to call it that), is perfectly logical.

Thank you.

Hi, everyone.

I am Malatesh Daddikoppa.

Are Indians less quality conscious,

In my view "I agree with this sentence" why because 60 percent of Indian peoples want more quantity in lesser price it means they want lower quality products,

I want dividing first Indian population.

1. In India 50percent of people are middle-class people.
2. 30 percent of people are rich people.
3. Remaining 20 percent of people are poor people.

80 percent middle class and poor people want to buy lower quality products only.

Only rich people want to buy better quality products so Indians are less quality conscious.

Hi. This is Dhananjay. Today topic is Indians are less quality conscious.

If you have money, then you will become quality conscious. In India. We all know that. Poverty, illiteracy and population are the main factors which is pulling India's growth towards the downside.

When will you become more quality conscious?

When you will have sufficient money. Through which you can choose the things best you want. These are the things. Which we called quality conscious.

Not only India but also some other country where destitution and other factors are just the main factors which lead them to less quality conscious.

Thank you.

Hey, everyone.

I clearly disagree with the fact that Indians are less quality conscious. I mean just look at our mothers before buying a bunch of vegetables they check the quality.

Hello readers enthusiasm!

I read all most all the answers and I understand very well all friends wrote very well. As per my point of view, India people are very stable in choosing a quality product. There are 50% of the people are believed in quality product even middle class and Lower middle-class people also believe in use quality product because in India population more than 60% people are youngsters and in 60% youngsters more 50% people are educated very well so half of our peoples are educated very well now let's talk about quality product if want to buy one jeans or one watch the basic customer requirements is product should be good and long lasting but I haven't enough money to buy these quality products so what should I do I will wait some days for buy quality product because it's better than buy less quality product.

The very educated people thing like that so as my point of view, we Indian believes in quality.
