Hi Guys,
People Buying capacity come from their income. Whenever any person even tries to buy something so, first of all, he/she considers his/her pocket then they think to buy. So buying a less quality products or high-quality products depend upon person to person in the market if a person is financially strong and that person loves to buy a quality product so that person buys that and vice versa. The Market is a mixture of customers all types of customers visit the market. But yes if we talk about a majority so we can say that people are still facing the problem of unemployment in India so having less money they don't try to think about high-quality products for their use.

Hello Friend,
As all the point has been covered by my friends. I just want to add one point which I didn't found after reading all comments.
That Rich and Poor doesn't matter in quality consciousness because Rich people prefer high quality it is a definition as quoted by all but poor people prefer quality more than riches because they are poor they have limited money which they have to spent on a product or service and they find quality from that in long run because he knows he will not be able to buy it again in short run and rich people can by high price low-quality product because he knows that they can buy it again.
By taking an example if we see a villager who makes their clothes or buys his cloth once in a year and he knows that he has to maintain that clothes for the whole of that years. Hence proved they prefer more quality that a rich guy who buy t-shirts at a high price and forget about the quality of that product because he can buy it again.

First of there are 3 categories of Indians.
1- Middle class.
2- Poor class.
3- Rich class.
So those who are capable they go for quality and those who are not capable they try to get that product at low cost so definitely there will be the decrement in quality. But it doesn't mean that Indians are less quality conscious.

Good evening everyone.
Talking about quality concscious, as per my point of view its not about India or some other country. Its totally depends on person to person, if someone is that much capable that he or she can afford anyone of their wish then they will not compromise with the quality and a person with poor background has to live their life as per their living standard.

First of all, we should understand the definition of quality it's define by Juran one of the quality gurus fitness for the purpose at best economical level.
Through only cost, we can't measure the quality of the product.
Performance, Appearance, Service, Feature, Durability, Reputation, Reliability, Response etc. Are the measures or meanings of quality.
Hence we can definitely say that Indian people are check all the above point during buying a product.
For example, when we buy a mobile we ask to our friends, compare features, feedback about performance, brand, cost, service all parameters check and then we take a decision.
In my point of Indian people are quality conscious.
Because of globalization international companies are established there plants hence increase the competition due to this Indian people have a variety of product and from that, they select the best.
Thank you.

As per my opinion, Indians are conscious about quality. The indians wanted quality products as per their requirements. As we think of farmers they buy quality seed to florish their agriculture. As we take example of business man then quality is important key for them. I don't cansider that if we have more amount of money then people will go to buy quality products it only depends according to the basic requirements.

Hello everyone,
We can't exactly say Indians are less quality conscious.
Why because the quality is depending upon a person need and their financial situation.
If a person uses anything only ones or twice he select less quality product at low cost.
If a person uses an item, again and again, he selects more quality product with any cost.
And he minds his financial situation.
THANK YOU.

By seeing out everything, I may think that if an Indian Producer seem to supply there goods in a domestic market then he don't bother about the quality of good. On other side if willing to supply in Foreign market then he seriously consider about the quality. I don't know why they seems to provide the inferior quality of goods in domestic market, as there is no quality check of product from government in regular intervals.
The Government department has to be strict in the checking the quality of goods, as what they are providing for the citizen of their own nation. Please also awake in this Topic or it will always continue like this.

Hi, my opinion is we Indians are not less quality conscious. Of course, it may depend on the poverty line, especially in our country. But the good example that Indians are not less quality conscious is that most of the countries prefer Indians for their companies as they are good quality conscious. As we all know that even though India is a developing country most of the families are still below poverty line. And so that is reason people are concerned about their future needs and they go for spending less money, in turn, buy fewer quality products. But I don't feel like in all matters they prefer less quality. Even a middle-class family make sure that their children are studying in good schools are colleges because they want good quality in education. And even our Indian government should be awakened to solve the problems of villages middle and poor class families so that each of us can be in good position with good quality things which are necessary for day to day life.
So based on above examples my conclusion is that Indians are not less quality conscious but they are made to be less quality conscious.

According to my point of view, I don't think so Indians are less quality conscious, we live in a country where all types of people are there high-class family, middle-class family and poor people. Poor people are also not quality conscious all they spent less on quality because of having less money in their pocket. They also want to increase their standard of living, they also want to spend more money on a quality product but due to poverty they are not able to do that.
