I don't think Indians are less quality conscious. As we all know that India consists of different segment of people. Premium Segment (Rich) people are quality conscious as for them spending money is no problem. But for lower middle class and low classes, money matters. Due to this reason some people prefer e-commerce sites like Flipkart, Snapdeal to get some discounts on same quality product.

Thank you.

I agree with the topic what we are discussing here. But, from my point of view. Indians should need to concentrate more about the quality of anything. Because the quality plays a major role in all facts.

Some pupil's here are saying about the economic conditions. I agree with that point. But, I would like to say that to be aware of quality.

Conclusion: Hence, Indians are less quality conscious.

India a developing country which is indeed of quality. However, the people who are living in India can't be designated. They give a major role in the economy of India as well the importors to India.

A large population is a traditional live in India therefore much of them prefer to the quantity that of quality. The scenario is constantly changing in India, people had started to check for quality.

Hello friends, I think each one of us has different needs. Some want quantity, some want quality in case of products. So everyone has different needs and financial condition based on which they buy products. But at the same time, I think most of us ignore the details about the products like the nutritional value, the ingredients and rather go for brands which are advertised by our celebrities.

As far as the consistent raising standards, lifestyle of every person in India has rapidly furnished.

People have more positively and actively switched themselves towards better and aware quality of products.

Even most common person is now concerned about the quality and benefits of any commodity.

So, taking the positive aspect Indians are way better and conscious for quality measures.

Hello everyone,

We can't exactly say Indians are less quality conscious.
Why because the quality is depending upon a person need and their financial situation.
If a person uses anything only ones or twice he select less quality product at low cost.
If a person uses an item, again and again, he selects more quality product with any cost.
And he minds his financial situation.

THANK YOU.

I partially agree to the point because in our country many people are conscious about the quality but because of their less income they will compromise with quality and some people even they are getting good annual income they attract towards pay less get more concept so in my point of view Indians are conscious about quality but due to certain reasons they compromises with quality.

No, Indians are not less quality conscious, as we know that this decision depends on the salary they are getting. If a person is getting a good income he will surely go for good quality but if you are not able to deal with your daily requirements then you have to compromise in quality and quantity. Quality may matter but quantity is the only thing with which poor are dealing with.

Sometimes it seems to be true, for example, buying of dress, thought they are not qualitative for the sake of wearing for few times, the people will buy them. Not only this, we can even see the housewife who looks the discounts or 1 + 1 offers etc without a second thought they will buy it. I think the quality is not important all the times, it depends on our mindset and our usage.

India is a country which is right on its steps to become a developed country i.e. it is still developing which means that every Indian isn't capable of making money with which he can buy high standard goods for him and his family. And obviously quality requires more money spent by investors and more money given by consumers. Therefore, at this stage, India isn't focus on quality.
