My counter argument for everybody saying that Advertisement is not a waste because of people being informed about products.

Firstly, advertisement only benefits those who are being paid. The business. Never the consumer.

You are only being encouraged to purchase items you think you 'need, want or desire' - marketers study how to fulfil those needs, sometimes even how to create those desires subliminally.

Quite frankly, it is stupid to believe you ever really need something, unless its a physiological / safety need such as food, water, warmth, and rest.

Anything that doesn't fall under that list is quite clearly a need of belongingness, esteem or self-actualisation. The products and brands you buy into simply build your 'identity' you are trying to build.

Capitalism means consumerism and the marketing industry simply manipulates you to consume more and more.

According to me, Advertisement is not waste of resources. It is crucial one. It is one of the communication with people over the world. Because without any advertisement people can not know what will be going on the world. It will helpful for people what they are requirement for their future. So, it is very helpful and needed one. Advertise is one of the source for communication with environment.

According to me, advertising is not waste of resources. Advertising is very important in our daily life. Without advertisement we never get to know about new products. Through advertisement we can aware of products. After using those products we have a clear idea about which is good and which is bad. Also tv shows are introduces with the money of advertising companies. But sometimes we judge products by looking attactive advertisement instead of looking quality.

In my point of view, advertising is some what useful and dangerous. It may attracts the children with waste (or) fast foods and may affect children. It is useful for consumers or customers to know about new products or gadgets.

Advertisements are not the waste of resources. To survive in a market company has to do marketing so that consumers should not forget their products. Like we can see in rural areas people will ask for Colgate instead of toothpaste, lifebuoy instead of bathing soap, Maggie instead of noodles so just because they have very strong marketing strategies that's why they are performing so well in the market. So the company has to do advertisements of their so that people will have a variety of products from same domain from which they can easily choose one product as per their requirements by analysing their product quality, quantity and very important their price value.

As per my opinion advertisements are not wastage of money, as we all know the competition in business is increasing day by day as government allowing FDI and liberalizing the laws for the globalization. This results in the immense competition for that there is needs of advertisement.

1. Let me explain this in with example i.e. NIRMA which was famous brand in the India but the now with products of the HUL and P&G but nirma couldn't survive reason may meany but important reason is publicity advertisement that foster these brand to lead the market.

3. Advertisement comes under the promotion and the promotion is one of the P of marketing which play huge role to promote the brand, products feature, innovative products.

4. Advertisement is boon for the business for sale the product overseas with help of social media marketing and many more tools.

5. Advertisement is tool to create the create good image of products in mind of customer by hammering the products brand as we always buy well known brand though the feature are same as the non advertisement products bit what matters is the the trust and awareness of the company.

Advertising is the art of drawing the attention of people, to promote the sale of a product, by using attractive pictures, slogans, or by demonstration. It has today become a highly specialized activity for creating customer awareness, increasing curiosity, co that he finally buys the product. It's influence can be gauged from the fact, that the government is also using this medium, for educating the masses on important social issues, as family planning, aids etc.

According to me, advertising has the major impact on consumers. It is the advertisement, who make people aware of the products from different price range. Whenever any new product is launched through advertisement, people buy it at least once. Even if any discounts and offers are announced in the advertisement, consumers are ready for brand switching. Though some advertisements are a just gimmick, but people get attracted to that too. Even, social media is the major hub for advertisement and it is seen that businesses are really making profits by attracting people through such media. So, definitely, advertisement is not a waste of resources. Even, if you want to start your own business, the first thing you have to do is to advertise yourself and your product or offerings.

If an advertisement shows too many promises about the product which it can't really deliver, then it's a waste of resources! Because in that case, consumer will buy that product in a false hope of something and later may feel cheated and will never trust your brand again! The advertisement is a wonderful way to make your brand visible if you use it right! And it will actually be a utilization of resources, not a waste!
