A Person should not be too honest; Straight Trees are cut first

We get hurt by seeing dishonest people around us then why should we hurt those few honest people by being dishonest? There should be few people who are honest and don't hurt people. May be we get hurt or loose opportunities by being honest.

But we can stand in front of mirror and proudly say, "I don't care what people think about me or what I have got by being honest, I have done my job honestly and I know that one day my good deeds will get counted. I am an Honest person and I know that I am wiser than all of you".

Yes, I agree honesty is the best policy. You can stay in a free mind without tension if you are honest. At the same time also should maintain patients. Its true that straight tree cut first but think about the cutter who is a fool. A honest person is always nearer to God so always blessed and loved by society. Its true people criticize them always, called as stupid, fool, etc. But at last they make a place in society. This time I request all to be honest and feel great.

We live in an era where people's moral value are more considered by other people. Society loves those people only who is honest with them, who are loyal towards them. A relation is only build if the person is honest and loyal with you. You don't step forward to make a relation with the person who is dishonest, because somewhere in your heart you know he can betray you any time in the life.

Yeah It is true straight trees are cut first, a person who is straight forward and honest, is criticized somewhere in his life but in the end he will find a place in society where his presence is more valued.

Whether you are getting it off your chest, venting, expressing yourself, airing your feeling or just being honest, the truth about honesty is that honesty is not always the best policy.

I am Saisnata. Actually I am confused that, people often say those who take the positive side wins the success at last. Is that true?If yes, my question is that when this last comes. Look at the world history there has always been defeat and destruction of many sensitive people who are in positive side. Like Mohammad Ghori came and killed many sensitive people. When the last comes. Britishers came and made many huge loss, tortured, terminated and many people were killed, exterminated and segregated. When the last comes.

So I suppose those all to be past and let it away. But I could not any any positive chances in the modern world even. So can anybody is there who can make me clear that if this like things will happen, how the morality could be explored, how an innocent child can walk on a corrupted road.

A very good discussion is going on with the true line: A straight trees are cut first. This line true almost every time, WE know the Honesty is the best policy, but when it exceed the limit, people started to take advantage of you.

An honest person always good and true for yourself and for others. They never have the intention to hurt you. But when person against you, try to take advantage and dominate you. It becomes wrong that time. They should do like others. An honest person always wins, because liar person can not be stable.

Here we have to understand the meaning of honest. No one in this world is 100% honest. We think we are honest people. We are doing everything honestly unless and until we are facing any problem in our day to day life. Suppose you are a job seeker.

After an exam or interview you may not request any one to give you that job. But you must pray god to get that job, in that time you never pray to god to give that person who did best in the exam.

But here the discussion topic is: Straight trees are cut first. Yes a straight tree is cut first because being too honest can lead a one in problems as in my above example, you may not get that job.

Actually I agree that everything in a limit is perfectly fine. Even in the case of honesty too. Being honest surely implies to goodness of a person. But yeah the good people always treated like shit. So better be will selfish and try to be honest in a limited way!

First of all I would like to say thank you all to given me this golden opportunity that I can share my thoughts.

Actually first of all I would like to say that there are many things which are considered good but in real life those are called bad things SO when we face this kind of situation in our life every day so we can also consider where is need of honesty.

I mean showing only attitude all time is not good because our life is a practical life and there is need that we must continue change our work. So we always should live on situation base in place of pre-planning.

There are so many aspects to this question. Honestly, as "hey I think your fat!" That is indeed honest, but is it MORE so inconsiderate, and no adult should ever be mistaken honesty for ignorance.

Another, is on a wider scale, like politics, and dealing with false power, making yourself vulnerable to the wrong people, is certainly also something an adult should be well aware and guarded of. Because honest people are rare. Its nature and survival, unfortunately. Only true people of this earth know what honesty is, or isn't. We know best. And it should always be tightly kept to pass on to generations.

I believe the problem, and the reason we all even have to ask this silly question, is the masses of society. Which is ultimately very influential, powerful, and even natural.

Honest people are strong people, and only the strongest will survive.
