A Person should not be too honest; Straight Trees are cut first

I think honesty is good but more honesty is not good. In the world, I don't think any is fully honest somewhere or other they would forget about it's if they follow it so I think that one deserves for that but he couldn't get because of his honesty god wants to give them. I know a person who is honest and because of his this good thing he is poor.

Honesty is good. But its depend on upon situations. A person can be completely honest when he has everything.

Yeah, l do agree that honesty is indeed the best policy. But it completely depends on the demand of the situation. Sometimes it may happen that telling the truth may make the bad situation even worse. So in that condition, it's better to compromise a bit with honesty and go with the flow.

Satyamev Jayate is our National symbol. But in nowadays Satya is harassed and seldom wins.

One Satya or honest people are targeted by Group of Corrupt people and the system is either helpless or has no intention for the growth of honesty. Most of the people see the benefit in prevailing corruption.

This is the reason the leader or corrupt officers proclaims who's is not involved in the country if they get a chance and other says no one even the prime minister can make any harm.

But this is not true when all will involve the country will be collapsed.

Why an honest people are expected to be 100 percent honest. No intelligent student are able to give answer 100 percent. In college life or in other fields there are no one boys who never make any comments or held hindrance to girls student, it does not mean he is anti-socials elements.

Obtaining above 89 percent are called genius.

Similarly, who do work impartially and without any expectation are known as honest. Due this habit they come into the sight of corrupt authority so they are harassed. At this stage, due to loopholes of the system, they do not get justice.

In conclusion, the statement comes to be true A person should not be too honest; Straight Trees are cut first. Hence the corruption is increasing rapidly so the country is not in progress as ambition.

A person should not be too honest it's extremely true but not totally lie.

Bit honest when needed and bit liar when that's needed.

It depends on the situation is.

There are so many aspects to this question. Honestly, as "hey I think your fat!" That is indeed honest, but is it MORE so inconsiderate, and no adult should ever be mistaken honesty for ignorance.

Another, is on a wider scale, like politics, and dealing with false power, making yourself vulnerable to the wrong people, is certainly also something an adult should be well aware and guarded of. Because honest people are rare. Its nature and survival, unfortunately. Only true people of this earth know what honesty is, or isn't. We know best. And it should always be tightly kept to pass on to generations.

I believe the problem, and the reason we all even have to ask this silly question, is the masses of society. Which is ultimately very influential, powerful, and even natural.

Honest people are strong people, and only the strongest will survive.

First of all I would like to say thank you all to given me this golden opportunity that I can share my thoughts.

Actually first of all I would like to say that there are many things which are considered good but in real life those are called bad things SO when we face this kind of situation in our life every day so we can also consider where is need of honesty.

I mean showing only attitude all time is not good because our life is a practical life and there is need that we must continue change our work. So we always should live on situation base in place of pre-planning.

Actually I agree that everything in a limit is perfectly fine. Even in the case of honesty too. Being honest surely implies to goodness of a person. But yeah the good people always treated like shit. So better be will selfish and try to be honest in a limited way!

Here we have to understand the meaning of honest. No one in this world is 100% honest. We think we are honest people. We are doing everything honestly unless and until we are facing any problem in our day to day life. Suppose you are a job seeker.

After an exam or interview you may not request any one to give you that job. But you must pray god to get that job, in that time you never pray to god to give that person who did best in the exam.

But here the discussion topic is: Straight trees are cut first. Yes a straight tree is cut first because being too honest can lead a one in problems as in my above example, you may not get that job.
