Honesty is the best policy. This is taught to us right from our childhood. We should be honest but in today's world too much of honesty won't be good. Hence be honest to those people who are honest to you.

Of course honesty is the best policy, but some times we have to give up our wishes while being honest, and in my view in the present world even though we are honest the others won't be like that with us and we face some problems because of them, so I think there is no need to be very honest always.

Too much of anything is bad. Too honest person can be easily cheated. So honesty is the best policy, honesty is the combination of two things i.e, truthful and sincerity. I agree with straight trees cut first because they more useful and wood used for different purpose like tables, doors etc. Suppose your parents are dishonest, you are not interested talking to your father. My conclusion is too much me any thing is bad so we need to be a honest there fore we see a greatest India.

I would stay honest rather than having lots of gold and silver but no sleep. I believe honesty and hard work takes more time to succeed in what so called Good life. But the real good life is how honestly you do things that gives total satisfaction not me or my family but to the contribution of this society. Being fair to others begins with our honesty. If everybody start to be dishonest, the world will be more corrupt and people would steal from others and live a immoral life. Hence the adage which you say "Person should not be too honest; Straight Trees are cut first" is not right.

I Think yes "A Person should not be too honest; Straight Trees are cut first". Because everything should be in limit and at last sea also have its limit, So as Per my point of view a person should not be too honest because in this world every person flow with crowd of people.

But Yes this is also true that Honesty is the best policy. If you will not get judge today it will get tomorrow you will get and for this it is necessary to be honest. Its need of TODAY.

Honesty is good. But its depend on upon situations. A person can be completely honest when he has everything.

I also agree honesty is the best policy ad strictly follow it too. But at times we need to hide our cards. To flourish and to make a say in the society.

In today's world, the acceptable norm isn't what's the truth but what's politically correct. Political correctness is rooted in dishonesty, not sensitivity. The basis for any communication isn't rooted on right or wrong. Rather it's grounded in the Pavlovian principle of reward and punishment. Saying the right thing will get you rewarded. Saying the wrong thing will get you punished. People have become so steeped in this that they instinctively learn to not say anything if they know it's going to be something you're not going to like. That's why they'll make commitments they have no intentions of honoring, appointments even if they know they won't be there. Then dodge your calls your emails your texts even turn off their voicemail. And if they feel the person they're dealing with isn't stable. They're. Not going to be truthful with them.

Customer service reps will lie to customers and send them on wild goose chases to get them off the phone. And political correctness has made today's world like navigating thru s land mine. Today you really have to watch your P's and Qs. If you do or say anything someone doesn't like they'll smile in your face and never let you know you've crossed them. But could be your undoing. Saying the right thing could get you that raise or promotion. The wrong thing and precious gets the hose. So people learn to instinctively lie to protect themselves.

In my opinion less and more honesty doesn't mean anything. An honest person does not fear from the results or change his decision either by thinking about it. And honesty is the best policy and needs no compromise for it.

Why an honest people are expected to be 100 percent honest. No intelligent student are able to give answer 100 percent. In college life or in other fields there are no one boys who never make any comments or held hindrance to girls student, it does not mean he is anti-socials elements.

Obtaining above 89 percent are called genius.

Similarly, who do work impartially and without any expectation are known as honest. Due this habit they come into the sight of corrupt authority so they are harassed. At this stage, due to loopholes of the system, they do not get justice.

In conclusion, the statement comes to be true A person should not be too honest; Straight Trees are cut first. Hence the corruption is increasing rapidly so the country is not in progress as ambition.
