The composition of Oxygen (O2) in the air is 21%.
Brass does not react with oxygen and thus decolourization does not occur.

Brass does not react with oxygen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide. Because of the presence of Hydrogen sulphide, Brass is discolored in sunlight. Therefore, the answer is B.

Brass gets discolored due to H2S present in the air.
Brass is made of zinc and copper and copper sulfite and zinc sulfide are colored.
Brass reacts with Oxygen and causes corrosion. But corrosion takes years to discolor.

This is because the presence of a mixture of hydrogen and sulphide and brass, which has a very light colour and mixture with hydrogen sulphide leads to non-temperature (hot and cold temperature type). So it becomes discoloured. Hence, brass gets discoloured in the air because of the presence of hydrogen sulphide.
