Hydrogen is the first element in the periodic table. It's atomic number is 1. That means it is having one proton in nucleus and one electron in its shell. So it is having one proton in the hydrogen atom.

Because Hydrogen has no neutron, So it has one proton in it's nucleus.

The proton's number is saying as electron number so both 'd' and 'a' option is correctly answer.

Hydrogen contains only one Positive Charge in its Nucleus i.e., contains only one Proton. Number of Positive Charges in equal to its Number of Protons in any neutral atom. So, Hydrogen contains only one Proton in its Nucleus.

In chemistry, the term proton refers to the hydrogen ion, H+. Since the atomic number of hydrogen is 1, a hydrogen ion has no electrons and corresponds to a bare nucleus, consisting of a proton (and 0 neutrons for the most abundant isotope protium 1 1H).

Hydrogen is the first element in our periodic table its atomic number one.so its having one electron and protron. it means one proton in nucleus and electron in shell.

Basically.
Atomic number means the number of protons or the number of electrons present in an atom.
Hydrogen atom carries 1 electron as well as 1 proton.
Atomic mass means sum of number of Protons and No of neutrons.
As the atomic mass of the H atom is 1, It has no neutron present in the atom. :).
