Vds = Vgs-Vt.
=>Vds = 3-0.5 = 2.5(B).
For n-channel mosfet.
Vgs< Vt------ cutoff region.
Vgs> Vt & Vds>Vgs ----- linear or triode or ohmic region.
Vgs> Vt----saturation region -- constant current region.
=>Vds = 3-0.5 = 2.5(B).

Vgs< Vt------ cutoff region.
Vgs> Vt & Vds>Vgs ----- linear or triode or ohmic region.
Vgs> Vt----saturation region -- constant current region.

Vds = Vp = Vgs-Vt.
Vds = Vp = 3-0.5 = 2.5.
Where,
Vds = drain to source voltage,
Vgs = gate to source voltage,
Vt = Threshold voltage.
Vds = Vp = 3-0.5 = 2.5.
Where,
Vds = drain to source voltage,
Vgs = gate to source voltage,
Vt = Threshold voltage.
