From ohm's law, V=IR where are is the resistance of the material in Ohms, V is the voltage supplied to the appliance in volts and I the current flowing in Amperes.
V=IR.
1 micro amperes = 0.000001 A.
750 micro amperes = 750*0.000001.
= 0.00075 A.
1 kilo ohm = 1000 ohms.
11 kilo ohm = 11*1000.
= 11000 ohms.
Therefor, V = 0.00075*11000 = 8. 5 V.
V=IR.
1 micro amperes = 0.000001 A.
750 micro amperes = 750*0.000001.
= 0.00075 A.
1 kilo ohm = 1000 ohms.
11 kilo ohm = 11*1000.
= 11000 ohms.
Therefor, V = 0.00075*11000 = 8. 5 V.

Dear Friends,,
Its very easy to find the answer in Exams...as the thing is Resistor never consumes the type of current..it always gives out what ever it have. So no use of calulating in this way...
Just it is produsing 11 and I is 75*10^-6
ie
.75*11=8025

Ans is [B] 82.5.
Given data: I = 750microAmps
= 750 * 10^-6 amps.
Resistance(R)= 11kohm= 11*10^3ohm
Voltage drop (Vd)= I*R.
= (750 *10^-6 )*(11*10^3),
= 82.5V.

All above methods are wrong.
1 microamphere = 10^-6 Amphere.
Therefore, 750 microamphere = 750/1000000=0.00075 Amphere.
11 kiloohm = 11000 ohms.
V=I*R
V=0.00075*11000=8.25V.
1 microamphere = 10^-6 Amphere.
Therefore, 750 microamphere = 750/1000000=0.00075 Amphere.
11 kiloohm = 11000 ohms.
V=I*R
V=0.00075*11000=8.25V.

Regarding the ohms wouldn't k represent 1,000, if not what is the abbreviation represent? or did i just get it it by realizing the microamps has already been converted by devising by 1,000 and thats why 11 works instead of 11,000

How to calculate micro amps to amps?
1A=10^3 mA
1A=10^6
V=IR,
I=( 750/10^6),
=0.00075A THEN,
11K OHM= (11*1000),
= 11000 OHMS,
V=(11000*0.00075) =8.25V Ans.
I think everyone understands this
1A=10^3 mA
1A=10^6
V=IR,
I=( 750/10^6),
=0.00075A THEN,
11K OHM= (11*1000),
= 11000 OHMS,
V=(11000*0.00075) =8.25V Ans.

Micro amp is different from milli amp.
I = in Amp.
Amp -> millli Amp -> micro Amp,
1 --> 1000 --> 1000000.
So, I thought we should divide 750 microamps into 1000000 to get the unit Amp.
Please clarify.

Given that,
Current, I= 750 Micro-Ampere= 750/1000000 Amp.= .00075 Amp.
Resistance, R= 11 Kilo-Ohms= 11*1000 Ohms= 11000 Ohms.
Now by using Ohm's Law,
V=I*R;
Hence,
V= .00075*11000= 8.25 Volts.

voltage drop refers to the voltage consumed by the particular resistance,
Here it is 8.25v and supply voltage whatever may be (here it is not mentioned) should be greater than 8.25v.

V = IR.
V = ?
I = 750x10^-6(micro amp to amp).
R = 11000(kilo ohms to ohms).
First all the unit come same unit ohms, amp, volt that's way answer correct other wise wrong.
V = 8.25.
