@All.

No, parabola is not a correct answer. Linear is correct.

Linear is correct. In any problems we are not considering the self weight while calculating sf and bm. Self weight of beam is neglected.

Yes, linear is correct.

Linear is correct because if we consider its self-weight as udl then for finding sfd and bmd by external loads we must consider its self-weight also and give its effect combined with udl.

In the calculation of bending moment and shear force, we do not consider the self-weight of the beam. So linear is correct.

For finding bending moment and shear force in the beam, we do not consider the self-weight of the beam that why in the case of no external load. Bending moment diagram will linear.

Here no act loading in this beam so the corect answer is Linear (here self weight of the beam are no prefer).

Parabola is correct answer because when any external load is not subjected to the beam so beam is acting only self weight and self weight is always in the form of udl and we known that for udl loading bmd is parabolic and smd is inclined.

If self with neglected then answer will be linear.

But if self with include answer will be parabola.

Linear is correct. Self weight of beam act as point load at its center as in case of ssb, hence bending moment is linear in variation.
