Option 3 is correct if we provide the sleeper at the joint we find the case of the supported joint which is most time less preferred as the sleeper at the joint with time may get failure and the other sleepers would be at a longer distance than in case of suspended joints so mostly in such cases we prefer suspended type where the joints are kept closed at the middle of rails.

Spacing of sleepers is not kept uniform throughout the rail length. It is closer near the joints because of the weakness of the joints and impact of moving loads on them.

B is the correct answer because near the joint sleeper spacing between 3 to 4 sleeper is 30 to 45 cm and then we increase the spacing at the middle 70 to 90cm.
