Option B is correct due to weakness and impact loading on joints.

The joint section is weak of rail, so there will be closer.

(B) is the correct Answer.

Spacing of sleepers is not kept uniform throughout the rail length. It is closer near the joints because of the weakness of the joints and impact of moving loads on them.

Near the joint 3 to 4 sleeper are kept close. Then why the answer should be C.
