The answer is correct. No doubt that critical path is always taken as the maximum time taken but it signifies that all the activities will be finished in that time and for the project to be considered as complete that time will be minimum.

The critical path is the longest duration path through a network diagram and determines the shortest time to complete the project.

Therefore the answer is option A.

Answer is wrong. Correct answer is maximum time.

CPM is based on cost optimisation, so the answer may be minimum cost.

Well, I think the gist of the question here is for completion of a project, thus making the critical path the minimum time possible.

Yes, its maximum duration of activities and hence its maximum time.

Surely the answer should be B. maximum time.

Me to confused the answer must be B.

Correct answer option B, because critical path is the longest path.

How? I think the answer is B. As the total time in critical path is maximum.
