In Bar charts, time is represented in x-direction & the y-axis represents the activities.
So, the correct answer will be A.

First time developed by Henry Gantt around 1900 and is used to deal with complex activities.

The bar chart consists of two coordinates, the horizontal represents the time elapsed and the vertical represents the job or activities performed.

The horizontal bar represent the various activities involved in a construction work. And the vertical bar represents the respective jobs to be performed. Hence B is correct.

Here in the options, it is asking about the lines, not the axis.

So, the Horizontal lines are used to show the activities.
