The cement whose strength is a little lower than the ordinary cement during the first three months but attains afterwards the same strength, is known as
low-heat Portland cement
rapid hardening Portland cement
Portland blast slag cement
Portland pozzolana cement
none of these.

Low heat cement is used in massive concrete like dams therefore to reduce heat of hydration LHC concrete is used which have low strength in the beginning but gains same strength of opc after 3 months.

LHC has a slower rate of hydration and achieves the same strength as OPC in 3 months whereas PPC attains the same strength as that OPC but doesn’t take that much time.

Thus LHC is the answer.

Pozzolana Portland cement does not attain same strength after three months. It is a slower process than OPC. That is the reason why low heat portland cement is given. The option is A itself.

Disadvantages of Low Heat Cement:

Initial strength gained is lower than that of OPC concrete, but the final strength is the same as that of OPC.

PPC including GGBS has to attain higher strength at longer-term comparing to OPC. I think it has to change three months to three days.

GGBS Blast furnace slag cement obtains strength at a lower price.

I think Portland pozzolana cement is the correct answer.

PPC is the correct answer because it has later strength.
