Work ability can be carried after proper mixing then 1st fill the cylinder with out tamping weight it and again fill the cylinder with concrete and properly vibrate or tamping then weight it.

Compaction Factor = (wt of concrete wt out compact/wt of concrete with fully compacted)*100.

Segregation means concrete cement slurry & fine aggregates &coarse aggregate collapsed & have no slump & after hardening no strength but workability is the checking the concrete how much time used after mixing.

Low workability- (25mm-50mm) slump- light reinforcement requires mechanically operated vibrator.

Medium workability- (50mm-100mm) slump- standard reinforcement requires hand-operated vibrator.

Slump value less than 25 mm -> power driven.
Slump value - 25 - 50 mm -> hand driven.
Slump value - 50 mm -> Mechanical vibrator.
Slump value - 100 mm -> Normal vibrator.

The mechanical vibrator is powered by a motor. Whereas normal vibration is carried out by a human using rods of suitable dia.

Right answer @Shiva.

It should be less than 25 mm for power driven vibrators.

And 25-50 mm for hand driven vibrators.

For vibrate 10-25.

Normal RCC work 80-150.

Mass concreting 25-50.

Slump value of mass concrete without using vibrator should range in 6 to 7.5 cm.
