A man has Rs.480 in the denominations of one-rupee notes, five-rupee notes and ten-rupee notes. The number of notes of each denomination is equal. What is the total number of notes that he has ?
Answer: Option
Explanation:
Let number of notes of each denomination be x.
Then x + 5x + 10x = 480

Please tell me is this solution is correct?
((1*x+2*x+3*x)/3) = 480.
So x = 90.
((1*x+2*x+3*x)/3) = 480.
So x = 90.

x+5y+10z=480 -> 1.
x=y=z -> 2.
x+y+z=? -> 3.
From 2 we can say that
x+5x+10x=480.
16x=480 : x=30.
From 2&3 we get answer as 30+30+30=90.
x=y=z -> 2.
x+y+z=? -> 3.
From 2 we can say that
x+5x+10x=480.
16x=480 : x=30.
From 2&3 we get answer as 30+30+30=90.
