1km = 1000m.
1000/25 = 40.
So, the diff between a &b is 25 - 22.5 = 2.5,
So, the answer will be 2.5 * 40 = 100.
1000/25 = 40.
So, the diff between a &b is 25 - 22.5 = 2.5,
So, the answer will be 2.5 * 40 = 100.

Tell me, if this is correct or not.
The ratio of A: B is 22.5:25.
But the question says if b covers 1000 m what distance the A will cover.
So, 25=1000.
22.5=x.
Cross multiply.
X=1000*22.5/25,
= 900.
So, the difference is 1000-9000.
= 100m.

@All.
Please learn to solve problems without using formula then you can remember for a long time.
time is taken by a = 1000/25,
= 40.
40 quantity of time he took to reach destiny in same time how much B have reached?
B distance = 22.5*4 = 900.
Finally distance is a-b = 1000-900 = 100.

It means that A has won the race.
Relative difference =25-22.5=2.5
Thus for 25m---------->2.5
Then for 1000m------------>?
1000*2.5/25 = 100.
Relative difference =25-22.5=2.5
Thus for 25m---------->2.5
Then for 1000m------------>?
1000*2.5/25 = 100.

This is very simple.
A wins 40 times by B (1000/25) in a 1km race.
In each session B lack by 2.5 i.e, (25-22.5).
So totally in a km race, B lack by A is:2.5*40 that is 100.

A runs = 22.5m.
B runs = 25m.
B beats A = 25/22.5 = 10/9.
Then, in kilometers race B beat A.
=(9/10)*1000 = 900m.
Hence,1000-900= 100m.
B runs = 25m.
B beats A = 25/22.5 = 10/9.
Then, in kilometers race B beat A.
=(9/10)*1000 = 900m.
Hence,1000-900= 100m.

Can anyone explain how they are calculating with 1/25 or 45/2? I so confuse.
