86 sec
80 sec
76 sec
None of these
Answer: Option
Explanation:

See,

(45/2=22. 5).

It is simple that if 22. 5m distance is covered in 6 sec than.

300m distance is covered in (300/ (45/2) ) =300x (2/45) =13.33333 x 6=80 sec.

Let see,
We know "(speed=distance/time)" or S=D/T
Given 22.5m in 6 sec then d=22.5,t=6sec
S=22.5/6
Now we have to find how much time taken to cover 300m distance.
T=D/S
=300/22.5/6
=80s

22.5m/6sec = 3.75mps total of meters = 300 therefore 300/3.75 = 80s.

B speeds = 22.5m/6s = 3.75ms.

300/3.75 = 80.

Since A beats B by 22.5 meter (225/10 or 41/2) or 6 sec. It means both quantities are equal.

Or we can say 22.5 m = 6 sec.

Or 22.5 meters covers in 6 sec.

Hence.

1 m = 6/22.5 sec;

So 300 m = (6/22.5)*300 sec;

= 6/(45/2)*300 sec;

= 6*(2/45)*300 sec;

= 80 sec.
