A is two years older than B who is twice as old as C. If the total of the ages of A, B and C be 27, then how old is B?
7
8
9
10
11
Answer: Option
Explanation:

Let C's age be x years. Then, B's age = 2x years. A's age = (2x + 2) years.

(2x + 2) + 2x + x = 27

5x = 25

x = 5.

Hence, B's age = 2x = 10 years.

Hi dude............
females(Y)=6000,males(X)=18000
x+y=24000........................(1)
(106/100)x+(109/100)y=25620.......(2)
by solving this 2 u get before increasing values..........
after increasing total number of females are (109/100)*6000=6540
after increasing total number of males are (106/100)*18000=19080
total is 25620

Hence proved(any doubts?)

c=x
b=2x
a=2x+2
(2x+2)+2x+x=27
5x=25
x=25/5
x=5
b=2x
b=2*5=10

If we take b as x then 9 is correct ans.

2+x+x+x-2 = 27,
X = 9.

A is x.
B is x-2.
C is (x-2)/2.

The sum of all ages is 27.
x+ (x-2)+ (x-2)/2 = 27.
(x-2+2x-4+2x) / 2 = 27.
Then (x+2x-6+2x) = 54.
(5x-6) =54.
5x =60.
x= 12 then.

(A is 12).
B is (x- 2 = 12-2= 10).
B age is 10.
