x = 120% y.
x = 120 / 100 y = 1.2 y ...... (2).
Put in Equation 2 in 1,
1.2 y + y = 550.
2.2 y = 550.
y = 550 / 2.2 = 250.
x = 120% y.

X=120%=120/100=6/5,
Then 6/5+Y=550,
Denominator 5 then,
(6+5y)=550,
11Y=550*5=2750,
Y=2750/11=250.
