Total votes = 1136 + 7636 + 11628 = 20400.

Let % of vote x.

Then.

(x/100) * 20400 = 11628.

x = (11628 * 100) / 20400.

x = 57.

@Arya Reddy.

Why because we need winner candidate % so we take it as a numerator.

Let the total taken as 100.

20400->100
then;
11628->?
so,
100*11628/20400 = 57.

Total votes.

= 1136 + 7636 + 11628,
= 20400.

Percentage =11628/20400,
= 57%.

11+7+1+0.6+0.6=21. Then 21/2=10. So that is greater than 50%.
