A, B, C subscribe Rs. 50,000 for a business. A subscribes Rs. 4000 more than B and B Rs. 5000 more than C. Out of a total profit of Rs. 35,000, A receives:
Rs. 8400
Rs. 11,900
Rs. 13,600
Rs. 14,700
Answer: Option
Explanation:

Let C = x.

Then, B = x + 5000 and A = x + 5000 + 4000 = x + 9000.

So, x + x + 5000 + x + 9000 = 50000

3x = 36000

x = 12000

A : B : C = 21000 : 17000 : 12000 = 21 : 17 : 12.

A's share = Rs. 35000 x 21 = Rs. 14,700.

So,
x + x + 5000 + x + 9000 = 50000.
Here x means c =12000.
So,
B's share is 5000 + 12000 = 17000.
A's share is 9000 + 12000 = 21000.
Therefore the ratio is 21:17:12.

A+B+C = 50000.

Let, C = C.

B = 5000+C.

A = B+4000 (substitute B (i.e A = 5000+C+4000) ).

RESULT: A+B+C = 50000.

5000+C+C+5000+C+4000 = 50000.

3C = 50000-14000.

C = 36000/3 = 12000.

B = 5000+12000 = 17000.

A = 17000+4000 = 21000.

A's receive = (21000/50000)*35000 = 14700 (i.e favorable outcomes of A/total outcomes)*profit.

Don't know much if mistake let me know!

As per partnership deed profit is share among partners 1:1:1, if anything is not specified than why profit is distributed among partners as their investment ratio.

So, x + x + 5000 + x + 9000 = 50000.

3x = 36000.

Kindly explain this two steps?
