11.
The difference between the length and breadth of a rectangle is 23 m. If its perimeter is 206 m, then its area is:
Answer: Option
Explanation:
We have: (l - b) = 23 and 2(l + b) = 206 or (l + b) = 103.
Solving the two equations, we get: l = 63 and b = 40.
Area = (l x b) = (63 x 40) m2 = 2520 m2.

Supposing you say width is x, then length is x+23, perimeter p = 2x +2(x+23)=206.
Solving it gives 4x = 160; then x = 40, length therefore is 40+23 = 63.
Area will then be; length *width; implying 63*40 = 2520.
Solving it gives 4x = 160; then x = 40, length therefore is 40+23 = 63.
Area will then be; length *width; implying 63*40 = 2520.

(L-b) = 23.
Perimeter of rectangle L+B+L+B=206.
Now,
L=23+b.
Put this value in perimeter formula,
Get value of L.
You can easily find the value of b by [(L-B)=23].
Product of L and B is your answer.

Let the length is x and breadth is y. Then 2x+2y = 206. So we know x-y = 23.
Then we x+y+x-y = 126. So we got x = 63. Then y = 40. After multiple 63*40 = 2520 cm.
Then we x+y+x-y = 126. So we got x = 63. Then y = 40. After multiple 63*40 = 2520 cm.

L = B+23 and 2(L+B) = 206.
2(B+23+B) = 206.
2(2B+23) = 206.
4B+46 = 206.
4B = 206-46.
4B = 160.
B = 40.
L = 40+23.
L = 63.
LxB = 63x40 = 2520cm*
2(B+23+B) = 206.
2(2B+23) = 206.
4B+46 = 206.
4B = 206-46.
4B = 160.
B = 40.
L = 40+23.
L = 63.
LxB = 63x40 = 2520cm*

(l+b) = 103 ...........(i).
(l-b) = 23 ...........(ii).
Subtracting eq.(ii) from (i).
(l+b)-(l-b) = 103-23.
2b = 80.
b = 40.
(l-b) = 23 ...........(ii).
Subtracting eq.(ii) from (i).
(l+b)-(l-b) = 103-23.
2b = 80.
b = 40.

l-b=23 perimeter is calculated as or 2*(l+b) so perimeter given 206.
2(l+b)=206.
(l+b)=206 divide 2.
So, l+b= 103.

l+b=103
l-b=23
-------
2b=80
-------
So b=40, substitute b in any equation you get l= 63
Area =lb= 63*40= 2520m^2
l-b=23
-------
2b=80
-------
So b=40, substitute b in any equation you get l= 63
Area =lb= 63*40= 2520m^2

l-b=23
then put l-23=b in it 2(i+b)=206
Solve it l=63 then substitut valu of l,
63-23=b , b=40 lb=63*40=2520.
then put l-23=b in it 2(i+b)=206
Solve it l=63 then substitut valu of l,
63-23=b , b=40 lb=63*40=2520.

2(l+b) = perimeter.
(L+b) = half of perimeter.
206 = 2(l+b),
so, (l+b)= 206/2,
=103.
