@Rajkumar Verma

The answer for your question is 'Conclusion 1 not follows.'.

--------------------------

@All

Now, I'm coming to given question.

The conclusion(3) "Some cats are rats" is just the convergence of the given statement "Some rats are cats".

So conclusion(3) follows.

According to the given diagrams, conclusion (1) and (2) are not follows logically (in all situation).

Therefore, the given answer "Only 3" is correct.

No cow is a cat. is this statement not right ?

For if we include the Venn of cow to that of rat or cat, we are making an assumption. And we are not supposed to make assumptions in Venn diagrams, rather draw only what is given according to the statements.

My Venn diagram did not match with those given here, but until now the answers were matching, except for this one : (.

Venn diagrams are right. But why we choose second Venn diagram? if we choose first one no dog is rat statement gives right. So 2 and 3 statements are conclusions.

In order for the conclusion to be true, it should satisfy all possible probabilities. So you have to draw all possible venn diagrams and see if the conclusion is satisfying all of them. It is a conclusion if it satisfies all scenarios. If it doesn't then it is a probability and not a conclusion. So in the above problem, Conclusion No.3, "Some cats are rats" is the only conclusion which satisfied both the scenarios.

Hope this helps.

Just explain How "No cow is cat" not follows ? According to first diagram Cow is not related to anything. We have clear statement in the questions, on which we have to give answer. So how can you make your own assumptions/Possibility (Which is not stated in the question) ? If you can then can I make statements like all cows cat ?

The conclusion has to satisfy all possible venn diagrams.

Conclusion - No dog is rat is not satisfies.

According to the statement all the three statements are true, but when we think logically,

Assume that:

Some cows are cat.
Some dogs are rat.

First 2 statements are false and 3rd statement is true.

So first and second statements can be either case but the 3rd statement is true.

So only 3 follows.

We should think all possible ways.
